excellent positional sound excellent clarity.
Open is very good these are probably the best for the price these are worth 100. I usually go with closed but i tried open with these fornthe first time and am happy. My partner gave me several complaints about my voice volume when i make call outs and atuff so i tried open to hear myself more and i do feel like i dont raise my voice as much.Aside from the the positional audio is excellent. the sound is also excellent. I pair these headphones with a creative sound blaster AE5 soundcard. and dont use any of the software i just have it amply the ohm impedance. If anyone thinks these headphones are quiet its cause the volume button is spun down. Or they need a dac or sound card. Although i feel like the motherboard sound should be good enough. i have had headphones in the past the come out flat and tinny through usb but when i use my sound card and aux connection, it would open up the sound really nicely.these are decently comfortable, but not the most comfortable ive had. these have a few options for aftermarket earpads so i got the option if i wanna try it.i probably should buy a second pair for the distant future. i doubt i could get something this good at this price point in like 5 years... or at least without trial and refunding a few...

Best gaming wired headsets i've owned.
Best headset Ive owned so far, for the price the sound quality the build quality and mic quality and its not even close. what you get for the price is insane, alot of 200$ headphones feel cheap compared to the H6pro's. if you want A good pair of headphones I can't recommend these enough.

Amazing headphones with a catch
These things sound amazing. Genuinely the best headphones I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Never before have I listened to a song and just sat dumbfounded at how detailed the sound was. Nut these changed that. The open back design makes everything sound big and open, almost like you're in a room and the sound is coming from the room rather than your ears. Piano music really brings this out the best, especially live albums. There is one small catch with that design. If you like bass-heavy music, the open back design doesn't necessarily mitigate the bass, but because there's no closed chamber for the sound to reverberate in, you don't feel the bass the same way you do with closed backs. In games, you don't so much feel the gunshot as you would with closed backs, but because these are so detailed, you hear the sound of the gun cycling. Everything is detailed and crisp instead of heavy and punchy. The bass is there, but because it's allowed to leak out, rather than bounce around and focus down on your ears, you can still hear the small details. You can hear the bassline in a Pendulum song and still be able to pick out the small treble details or vocal noises that would normally be washed out. It's not something I can describe well, you just have to experience it.Go to Best Buy or your audio store of choice and try a pair of open backs before you jump in. If you just want earthshaking, thumpy bass, get closed backs. If you like detailed, bright sound, get open backs.

Not that comfy, but they work fine.
I am not an audio snob. The audio I hear with these is as I would expect and I have 0 complaints. My only real issue is that they aren't very comfortable, especially for longer periods of time. The headband in particular is not super comfy. It would be more comfortable if it were more flat on the part that touches your head to distribute the weight more evenly. Instead, the padding is more curved and as a result puts more pressure on a line across your scalp.Unfortunately, there are only 2 options in the sub $100 range of open-backed over-ear headsets. This one and another brand that doesn't include a long enough cord if you plan on using the mic. So this really is the only option. These will work for now. :/When I play on the computer, I need to be able to hear other things that are going on in my home. For that reason, I need an open-backed headset that lets in external sound.

Really Nice Headset
I feel bad because I wrote a scathing review of the GSP 600 Closed back because they were so uncomfortable. In that review I was like, "Don't worry guys, Sennheiser isn't going anywhere and they'll fix the next headset!" Then I pretty much wrote them off and kept using my Game Ones. Well shortly afterward, Sennheiser sells their gaming headset division to EPOS. Then EPOS decides to stop making gaming products. So I never even got to give them a second chance until now when Amazon slashed the prices. This headset is awesome. The earcups fit around my ears, so there's no pressure. The cable is soft and easily straightens out.The mic is decent although I think the OG Game One still has a better mic.I'm using this with the EPOS GSX 1000 2nd Edition and the experience is phenomenal. This headset will pump the bass if you so desire while keeping the highs detailed. The sound sits a little farther from your ears than the Game One headset, but this is nice for handling explosions in FPS games.Godspeed Sennheiser and EPOS. Hopefully one day you will return to the gaming arena and we can all celebrate pro quality audio once again.
