It is the most unusual towel I have ever used in my life. It's super soft and light, so it makes it perfect for travelling. It absorbs water super fast, I should probably even say TOO fast. When you move the regular towel on your body it glides easily but this towel absorbs water so fast that it becomes difficult to move the towel. i know it sounds ridiculous, but I don't know how else to describe it :) So instead of gliding motions you need to press it against your skin. Then it works amazing. The verdict is- it is great but you need to get used to a new technique of using a towel.

Maybe I didn't read the description right, but these towels were not what I was expecting. They are extremely thin, almost as thin as a cheesecloth I might dry my dishes with. Ok, not that thin, but really thin - a few pieces of paper thick maybe.Since they are so thin, they don't feel plush and as comfortable as a cotton towel would. This isn't something you wrap yourself up in to be cozy. It's great for the summer time, but in the winter when you get out of the shower and it's cold, this won't make you feel warm.Now the good stuff: it works really well. Despite being so thin, it REALLY soaks up water. It kind of sticks to my skin as I dry off and sucks up all the water. Using in your hair will dry your hair very quickly.This is a great towel to get your dry - but I might look into get more plush (cotton) towels.

I was annoyed at my husband for buying this towel it was weird. Then I started stealing his towel, when I realized the price I about fainted, but then I saw how much less work it was to have a fresh towel all the time, I bought my own. About 6ish years later I splurged and got 2 more, I’m absolutely obsessed and wish I could switch to only these! They dry you sooo fast so you’re not cold, and then they dry on the rack super quick. They’re so thin and take up a tiny space if you pack or in the wash, it’s like a sham wow for your body but soft.

LOVE THESE!Pros* Durable. Bought a few a year and half ago. They are slightly lighter (normal fabric loss from wash\dry cycles) but no less functional. I only noticed this when I bought brand new ones and was able to compare side to side.* Fast drying. I love not having to restart the dryer because of a soaked terry cloth towel.* Stays fresh longer. These do not get as musty as a terry cloth towel. I am able to use them for 2+ weeks. Even when I moved and was sharing a towel with my partner, it didn't get musty!* Drys skin efficiently. I hate getting into clothing with my skin even slightly damp. Because of how absorbent these are, I only need to touch every area of my skin once. With a terry I have to be a bit more careful to always use a new area of the towel.* My girlfriend loves these for her long hair. It dries it very quickly, even after she uses it to dry her body.Cons* Not "draggable" on skin. This will bunch if you try to use it like a terry cloth. You have to pat it more. I am happy to pay that price for the above, but it's just not quite as luxuriant.

These work very well to get dry. The surface is rough and is somewhat similar to a cat's tongue. Performance is good until they have been used a few days and then the absorption starts to fall off, refreshed with a quick wash. Not quite as nice a good cotton towels, but fill in a space next to them. Light and easy to use, these are a good product and as everyday towels some may really like them, but others may find that they are not as nice as good cotton towels. Over all very good and certainly when fresh will dry more quickly and easily than a cotton towel. For specific uses these are superior.

I bought only one, to try out and see if I liked it as well or better than a traditional towel. I have to say, I'm sold! Certainly not for fans up super plush, fuzzy blanket kind of towels, but they are smooth and soft enough, get the job done with no shedding and dry our quickly, which is important in a humid environment like Florida. I absolutely hate musty, mildew towels. I've been using some bamboo blend towels for the last several years, but they're past their prime and needed to refresh. Here's to hoping these hold up well over time. Ordering enough more for the whole family now.

Yes, some people who are spoiled by the thickness of their towels may not like this towel. However, this towel will absorb the water off your body. Some reviewers stated that it sticks to your body. No, it doesn't glide over your skin like a regular towel, but it also doesn't adhere to your body like glue. I guess you could say the friction is greater with this towel, but it's also soft.Two things I really love about this towel. One: I can easily wrap my hair in it. It's lightweight and I can move around without having to worry about it unwinding. Two: It dries quickly. If I used this towel at night and needed it again in the morning, it's dry unlike my thicker towels. If you're an RVer, this would be a great towel for your RV trips.Update 07/2014: Ordered two more towels for our RV trip. RV bathrooms are small and we have hooks to hold our towels. These towels dried quickly in the bathroom. No need to hang them outside. Keeping these towels in the RV for future trips and ordering more for home. No other towel absorbs as much water from my hair like this one. Love it!

I like the towels, dry quickly and making drying off quicker. The only thing which is a little disappointing is that they really seem a tad too thin. I have other Microsoft towels and they are a little thicker and still as effective. Bought these for pool use so they are very easy to stack up for people to use, they dry amazingly fast and being white they'll stay white when I dry them in the sun...don't have to worry about fading.Overall I am very please with the towels.
