Amazon asked me to rate the “warmth” and “sheerness” of the product. Since is can heat upon dissolving, I suppose it is warm. Since is increases the hardness of my hot tub water, I suppose it is also a high “sheer” item? It dissolves in the water, it increases the water hardness of my spa. Did what it needed to do. Great price. Resealable bag seems sturdy enough, and I can push out the air, unlike in a bottle style container. Might go crazy and try as a de iced this winter, since it was a bulk package.

I'm using it for calcium supplementation in a reef tank. Works great.

This package is The perfect size for my spa when I change the water. I can use the whole package and not have to store any for later use. Very good value for the money.
