Worked perfectly

It works perfectly until it fails... I ordered this item on December 12 and it failed April 29... so it lasted about 4 months. Today's date is 10.1.2018. I'm ordering my third unit. The one I bought April 29 lasted 7 months. I'm now going to order two at a time to prevent downtime.

When our pool heater quit working after approximately 4 years (we use it a lot) we were totally bummed.. After a bit of investigating, we determined (and I say that loosely) that the ignitor was the problem. Ordered this part, easily installed it, and all was good..Easy fix at a good price..Updated 1/19/16... Just ordered this again, looks like the last replacement lasted 3 years. The new one seems to be a different style ignitor, which looks like it may last longer (Hopefully). But once again, worked perfectly. This is the second time this part fixed the "FAULT-CHECK IGN CONTROL" error that displays when the heater will not heat up.

Its works well. Problem is in my case, it only lasted for 1 season in the northeast.

Ok so like others Indicated this product does not last. I bought it mid March 2020 and it failed in June 2020. 3.5 months much like several reviews that indicated 4 monthish. I should have heeded there advice and not bought. $100 for 3 months what a rip off. Do not buy. I suspect some material defect. BTW I wore gloves and didn’t touch the element as advised.

Broke after 1 week, what a piece of junk.Ordered a second one and it came broken out of the box. See multimeter picture attached.

Works great. Got an extended season on my pool.
