Received air fryer yesterday, fast shipping, well packed in box, no smell like some have said about Instant vortex air fryers. Have cooked fries, hushpuppies, and boiled an egg in it. All turned out good. I really like the controls. They tell you what is going on at all times, like preheating, cooking, when to turn your food, and it has a large basket, 9 1/2in x 10 1/4in. inside area. So far i am 100% satisfied with the Instant vortex air fryer. One other thing, I have never heard an air fryer this quite. You can barely hear the fan only if you are really trying to here it. And when you press the icons the beep is so faint and not loud at all. Great machine.

I have always wanted to try one of these but figured it would just end up in a closet somewhere. Just got it and cooked boneless marinated pork chops and asparagus spears, separately. This was stupid easy to clean, wwas incredibly quiet, gave off almost no heat and I loved the viewing window. It will be trial and error to get timing right on things, this is a high wattage unit and therefore needs less time than smaller units. I bought the 6 qt. so I could do a whole chicken tonight. You do need a large heat resistant mat under it. I got a 25" long mat and glad I did so I can set the basket on it for turning over food. Does not come with a cookbook so bought refrigerator magnet cheat sheets, however, I think looking up recipes is better. You can open the drawer and check for doneness and either remove the food or continue cooking. It tells you when to turn over the food. I have a tiny kitchen and the appliance book made it sound like you had to use it in a huge open area to be safe and I only had one spot to put it. The cord is only 2 feet long so I sas lucky this worked out. It put out very little heat at all so no worries there. Cooled down fast. I have no place in the house to store it as we live in a tiny home (560 sq feet) but it is very lightweight so I just move it out to our shed when not using.

I actually like it more than I thought I would. Mostly used for frozen foods like french fries, egg rolls, etc. It also does a great job of reheating leftover pizza. As good or better than the oven and you aren’t heating up the whole kitchen.

I bought this a few weeks ago and i have not turned my oven on since. cooking for 2 has never been easier. My favorites are roasted eggplants, chicken thighs, country style pork ribs, costco frozen veggies, plantains from trader joes, fries, wings. Buy it , you will not regret it. i also bought the liners and clean up is easy.

It changed our lives! We used it every day! Easy to clean and food taste juice and much better!

It cooked consistently and safely for 2.5 years. Then the bucket failed at the handle and screws, and it was unusable.Reasonably easy to clean in the dishwasher, quite often the tray needs some additional cleaning. See pics for bucket failure. Not finding the bucket part for sale, we bought a new appliance.

This is my third air fryer, the Dreo I used to have died after 2 years but they stopped making that model (6.8 qt, 450 F max temp and it had a window). It was difficult to find one with the same spec, so I tried 3 different ones.Philip 2000 series - at 6.6 qt, I can't fit the 9 in liner without folding the corner and I use that to bake 5 to 6 cookies at a time, so it's a no go. Pretty quiet though.Cosori 6 qt - it would've been my second Cosori I own but the fan is pretty loud, no see thru window, but sure cook my food super fast at the same temp as Dreo. Even though it fits my 9 in liner well, but the height from the tray itself to the heating coil is only about 3 inches so I wasn't sure about cooking a spatchcock chicken or whole quail.Now the instant vortex fits the bill with everything I am looking for. You can also customize the temp and setting like the Cosori. This is definitely a keeper!I did buy the 4 year warranty because the previous 2 air fryer died on me in about 2 years so I think it's wise to get the extended warranty that's less than $30. Hope this help for those who likes to meal prep or cook for 4 people because I sure spent a lot of time finding the perfect one. I use my air fryer daily, including reheating food instead of microwave.
