Wish I had gotten it earlier.
I had previously been attaching temporary rails to my work pieces instead of using one of these edge guides. Now that I have the edge guide, I realize how much easier it is to make grooves parallel to the edge of a piece. The fine adjustment feature is very handy if you need to make a groove that is slightly wider than the bit you are using: just make a cut, turn the fine adjustment knob by the right amount, and make another cut. The guide has holes in it that allow you to attach a wooden extension piece to give you a longer contact with the edge of your workpiece.

Works well
This works well for my use. Like the micro adjustment. Less expensive than many others with similar features.

Good for spot jobs
This is fine for small or simple jobs, I doubt it would hold up well for many uses or big jobs.

Very good quality
Fit my Porter Cable router and is made with quality materials. Haven’t had chance to use it yet but I’m sure it will work as advertised.

Best of the commercial guides, but it could be improved.
This is a really accurate easy to use router guide. I wish I could figure out how to mount it to my skill saw for breaking down plywood. The guide is easy to use, pretty intuitive, and does a very good job of what it is supposed to do: guide the router.I've used it with Porter-Cable 690 and 890 series routers and it is a cut above the old style with two rods. It also works with the plunge base of the Dewalt 611 trim router. The things I don't like are probably minor to most people.First, if they drilled and tapped the open end, and put a plate there: You would have a storage place for all the extra bits they give you to adapt it to different routers. I bought this guide for use at work. I've had the same guide for about five or six years now at home. The pin to make it work as a circle guide was lost about a month after I bought the one at home. One of the guys that works for me is a hobby machinist, so he is going to drill and tap the body, and make a plate for the end so we can store the extra parts in the guide.Secondly, the indicator sleeve could use hash marks at the 45-degree points, which would let you adjust to the nearest 128th of an inch, and interpolate to the 256th of an inch. Again the guy who works for me can make the change.

Solid if bulky unit with an edge guide that can bend vertically
I finally used this to cut some grooves in to thin wood pieces. While this same job would have been easier with a router table, I do not have one. This unit has a course adjustment and a fine adjustment, which I guess saves a few seconds in setting up. This unit can also do circle patterns too, something I did not realize when I bought this - but since I already have a Jasper 200J Model 200 Circle Cutting Jig for Plunge Router jig I'm probably not going to use it.Moving this side to side this was not staying aligned at first, so I attached a straight piece to the black edge guide to give it more surface area and make it more solid. The bulk/weight of the unit can be counter productive in smooth movements in this regard given the small surface area of the edge guide, but since it comes with holes already I think you're not supposed to use it as is to begin with. Though after attaching a straight piece to the black edge guide I discovered that the edge guide while stiff laterally can be easily bent vertically. This is unfortunate, since the rest of the unit is rather solid. Though the bending issue is avoidable by simply not resting the router on top of the edge guide.

Came in destroyed package.
This particular order was a bit perplexing. I ordered the item and was presented with a two day delivery as the fastest option, which I accepted. The next morning I was browsing products similar, when I came across the same item but with same day delivery! What?So I cancelled the previous order (which hadn't shipped yet) and ordered for the item with same day delivery.Later that evening the package arrived, and I was excited to get it installed and give it a try! However, when I retrieved the box from my front porch, I noticed right away that parts were moving around in the box and clanging together. When I opened the box, what I found was a blister package that had been literally smashed into a box too small for it, ruptured the package and spilled the contents into the box.Fortunately, all of the parts were in the box with the exception of one of the mounting bars - a part I actually didn't need for my equipment. The overall condition of the item was acceptable otherwise, no dents or scratches. It mounted to my router just fine, and did an average job for what I needed.I will point out that both the threaded mounting bars and the keeper screws will not stay tight unless they are actually torqued-in with some strength. I discovered this as I was making a test cut and found both mounting bars were loose in the router base and allowed the cut to wander out of alignment.I found a wrench for the bars (they have two flattened edges on the end flange for a small wrench or plier) and put a strong twist on them which seemed to hold. I did end up adding lock washers hoping to prevent them from loosening, but without them being bolted on the end, they'll probably come loose again. The unit itself seems fairly well made for the price, but the fine adjustment knob is of little value and I ended up ignoring it. I do like the sliding adjustment though and locks down very tight.Overall this guide seems better than others and will be fine for limited applications.Rather than recommend buying this, I suggest investing in or making your own router table - something I will do in the very near future!

Easy to use and adjust
I almost bought the less expensive model, but opted for this one. I am glad I did. The ability to use the screw adjustment feature made it great to get mortises exactly where I needed them. I found that I was also able to remove it to use the router for another cut and put it back on the router and have it exactly where it was.

Que guía tan buena
La adapte a una rebajadora Skil antigua y le quedó muy bien a una nueva no para todas pero los rebajos y los canales muy buenas terminaciones si ajuste fino le quita a uno la impericia

Quality for the price and very durable. This is the third one I bought. Good design and very stable!
It's a great piece. The only thing I did was add a bit of adhesive tape to the bottom of sliding plate pieces under the aluminum rail guides to stiffen up the travel a bit. Super tight now! Fits a variety of routers and you can accurately manage many cuts before it has to be recalibrated again.

A Great Tool - Highly Recommended
This is a great product for anyone who needs an edge guide/circle cutter. It's very robust and well made. It comes with three sets of attachment rods for various router models and a centre pin for circle cutting. The instructions are fine, although the circle cutting information doesn't specify the dimensions given are for radii, and not diameter. The fine adjustment feature is extremely useful; I haven't seen one like it since I bought a Craftsman router and guide over 30 years ago! The adjustment has a micrometer feature which lets you adjust it in 1/64" increments, and by interpolating you could probably get it down to 1/128".I note someone commented on the tool adding to the weight of the router assembly and making it awkward to use. It certainly adds to the router's bulk but not particularly more than any other edge guide. As far as edge guides go this one is absolutely top rate. The seller sent it promptly, it was well packed, and was delivered quickly. I highly recommend this tool if you're in the market for an edge guide.'

Meh...
It does the trick. I tried incorporating it into my own mortising jig for use with a plunge router, but there is too much play in it for exact precision. I managed to make it work for what I needed. It's not festool, but your not paying festool prices either. Porter-Cable is a mid-tier brand, but I think it is generally priced low for what you are getting so it's still one of my favorite brands based on value and bang for your buck.
