These are so beautiful for serving
Serving tea in a glass teapot with these blooms is soooo cool. The tea is delicious and feels clean and healthy because of the literal flowers in your tea and has the right amount of flavor. It also looks beautiful in presentation when you are brewing for guests.

Flowering teas: You either love them or hate them
Flowering teas are a polarizing thing -- people either love them or hate them. Some people complain that they are overly sweet or taste like perfume rather than like tea. I'm the camp that really appreciates the aesthetics as well as the light refreshing taste of a good flowering tea. And most of these are good flowering teas. I'm particularly fond of the litchi and pomegranate flavors. So why the 4-star rating instead of 5-stars? Two reasons. First, you can only buy these teas in the variety package, and I can't say I'm really fond of all of the flavors included. It's annoying to have to buy 10 tea balls to get 6 that you like, and be stuck with 4 that are "meh." I'd really like the option of buying single-flavor packs so I can get what I like, and only what I like.Second, while the tea tastes fine, the look of the tea and the flowers isn't quite the elegant presentation you get from a truly exceptional flowering tea. There are two pictures attached to this review, the first of a flowering tea I had at a first-rate Thai restaurant, and the second of a flowering tea made at home with this product. You can see how in the first picture the tea ball sits at the bottom of the glass and the flower rises above it on a single stem; that's how great flowering tea should look. In the second picture, you can see how the tea leaves and the blossoms sit together on the bottom of the tea pot. The flavor is the same, but it's a less elegant presentation if you're serving guests or something where you care about the look as well as the taste.Having said all of that, I'll continue to be a regular purchaser of these tea balls, especially if they start offering single-flavor packages.
