Love this brush for styling my wavy/curly hair. I purchased it because it was compared to the Denman brush. While I have not used the Denman, this brush works great to create curl clumps. It's a game changer for my curly hair journey. I will no longer be blowing my hair straight. This brush really helps styling my curls.

Very responsive company willing to actually reach out to a customer and resolve any issues and improve. This was a great styling brush when it came to price, shipping speed, and design, however the handle snapped after 3 months. But the company issued me a full refund to purchase another brush as they are always working to enhance durability and quality. Would absolutely buy from them again, 5 out of 5 stars!!!

I bought this because I had seen similar brushes used to help create curls in wet hair. My hair is wavy and takes some coaxing to form curls. I have not been able to successfully use it the way I have seen in videos. I still love it though. It has the unexpected bonus of letting me dry my hair quicker. I flip my head upside down and brush through it. it feels like I get a good scalp massage, and it works as a squeegee to pull water out of my hair. When I’m done, the ends of my hair are dripping wet again. I just take my towel and remove that excess water. It hasn’t really made my hair more curly, but I do tend to have less frizz , especially in the back underneath. It’s very easy to clean the hair out of. The hair just seems to lift right out. If there was a bunch in there, you also have the option of sliding it out of the handle. I have not removed any of the bristles. It seems to work well for me the way it is.

I have a mixture of 3c/4a hair, and I found that this comb worked well to help define my curls, BUT it pulls and rips my hair, because the bristles are so hard and there is no flexibility. I've had a few denman brushes and I brush the same way as I always have, but I have to be more careful with this one. Also, when you're using product, the handle gets super slippery due to the material they used, and it's hard to grasp.

I know this is supposed to be comparable to the Denman brush, but I don't blow dry my hair, so I don't know. I also have wavy hair and not curly, so using the brush to define hair families isn't a thing for me. However, I do very much like it for brushing my wavy hair after it's dry. Gets to the scalp and doesn't pull, even at the ends.

It's really great for those of us who are just starting to discover curly hair.
