Proudly Made in The USA! - Ridged Slat Single Wall Bottom Locking Slat Depot Privacy Slat for 3', 4', 5', 6', 7' and 8' Chain Link Fence (3ft, Black)

I ordered these slats for one section (the left side on the photos) of my fence in 2020, and again for the right side this year (2025) after having the property line trimmed resulted in less privacy than both we and the neighbors desired. It is nearly indistinguishable which slats are brand new and which have been there 5 years. We have a wooden privacy fence that was put up in 2017 that looks awful compared to these slats. Initially I thought the price was a little high for the coverage area but after seeing how they held up, I am convinced these are the best option for privacy, durability and appearance. I have even hit the older slats with the weed whacker more times than I care to admit with very, very little damage, only to the track at the bottom. They are also super easy to install AND made in America?! I wish I could give 10 stars.

This product is great! It came as described and arrived in excellent condition. Slats come in several color choices, and I chose the color beige since that was the color that matched our house best. The slats we chose were to cover 6-foot-tall fence 75 feet long that ran the whole width of our back property line. It was easy to install, and no tools were necessary to install it in our chain-link fence. It improved the look of the fence and backyard, and it gave us the privacy we wanted and needed in the backyard. We live in a new housing development in town, and they installed chain-link fence along the outer perimeter of the homes since someone else owns the land on the other side, and we are stuck with the ugly chain-link fence. Our only option was to either leave it alone, plant some plants to cover it over time, pay to build a wood fence in front of it which didn't make sense to us & the only type of fence allowed in the development if you wanted a totally enclosed back yard was wood (crazy right?). The plants along the fence were costly and some needed replacing because of extreme weather and were high maintenance, so we decided to improve it by making the chain-link fence look better with the slats and give us the needed privacy we wanted. It looks great and it's so nice to have privacy in our back yard without having to put up a costly enclosed wood fence, especially since the neighbors on both sides of us have wood fences enclosing their backyards. The fence slats seem very durable and should hold up to our hot summers and cold winters. We feel this was the best option and it worked out great for us. I highly recommend this product and seller. Keep track of the number of slates you put up on your fence and the number that is on the labels. I finished my fence and realized I still had space left over on the lower clip. So based off the sellers information you should get enough slats to fill the entire Clips they send you. I contacted the seller and he had me count my slats and came to find out that the number of slots I had did not reciprocate the same numbers on the labels on the box. I was 13 short. So not only do they short me their quality control guy lied on the boxes and went ahead and sent them to me. I have contacted the seller and he has made it right it just took some time of counting and communicating. This is the only reason why I didn't give it five stars. First off I'm very pleased with the product I installed 30 ft in about 2 hours taking my time. It's extremely easy to install you probably won't even break a sweat. The product is made well and seems that it will last quite some time. I had the two inch diamonds and I have quite a bit of coverage when it comes to seeing through the fence. I may try taking fence tape and covering the rest of the open areas. If I do I will update this and let you know.

Very easy to assemble. We bought 5 colors, we had two of us working on it to keep the colors in order,One picking the colors they other assembling the fence. we ordered the 5ft and it fit perfectly with our 5 ft fence. We have the 2 1/4 inch space on the chain link, which allowed 2 slats in each one.Time will tell if it stands up to the Arizona heat. When I pulled out the first slate it seemed a bit thin but after working with it I believe the fence will be adequate for the long term. The wind was a factor in the product selection,we tried the mesh products they we torn apart by the wind. I believe this is a quality product for the price, with look we wanted. Will try and update a year from now how it holds up under Phoenix Az. Heat.

This product was very easy to install, even on our old chain link fence (which has some areas that were bent). It has withstood strong winds and a lot of rain. It looks great, and it also provides us with the privacy we were looking for.

The slats and bottom locking channel are of good quality and are MADE IN USA!!! Now suggestion: Maybe consider shipping by UPS or FedEx, the Postal Service delivered the box with one end torn completely open, fortunately all the pieces were still in the box.

Great addition to my boring chain link fence. No longer feel like I am in a fishbowl while enjoying my patio area. Perfect amount of privacy. Arrived quickly with great instructions and was VERY easy to install once you get a few in, then you're on your way. Love the snap in slot at the bottom. We had a few difficult areas to cover but were able to modify the install on those areas with relative ease. Looks FABULOUS and I've received several compliments. We'll see how they hold up in the elements, but so far so good!. I would highly recommend this product for the price (the fence installer was going to charge 4 times what I paid here, so this was a no-brainer for our time involved installing, approx. 2 hrs for 25 feet), ease of install and added privacy. May get additional slats to completely do the entire fence (Only did near my patio section)
