This is for my cat. Getting a cat to do anything healthy can be a problem, and she has turned her nose up at other probiotics in the past. Since she's not a very big eater in the first place, I was not looking forward to trying to get this in her. If her food is rejected, she won't even consider eating again for several hours, so unliked food can be a real problem given that the cat is already underweight and losing more.Well, this stuff either truly tasteless, or it has a flavor she likes. I sprinkle some on her food and if it clumps a bit, I put a little cold water over that spot to dissolve it a little, and she laps it up (as long as the bowl is holding one of her pre-approved food flavors).Either this or the fish oil or the combination of the two seem to be helping her to put some weight back on, which she needs, due to IBF. Hopefully, she'll continue to deign to eat it.

Works good but the price is outragous and they keep making it more and more. People buy thsee and rely on these for there health to not crumble and keep flares away cause there insurance does not cover it. Taking advantage of the ill is a discussting way of making profit. 👎🏼

Way too expensive for what you get. It's hard to say the temperature was maintained for the entirety of the products life cycle.

Convenient. Palatable. Not really a price savings over the real deal VSL#3

I've been using Visbiome and VSL#3 (not at the same time) for several month. Both products help a lot with UC (as far as I can tell). UC is a very tricky disease and things that you think are helping sometimes don't help in the long-term. So, I can't yet attest to the long-term effectiveness of either product. Initially Visbiome was maybe 10% less expensive than VSL#3, but the prices are starting to equalize. As others have said, the price is very high. Also, for what it is worth, I've gotten results with 4 capsules or equivalently, 1 packet per day. However, the instructions suggest much higher dosages.
