Underworks FTM Extreme Tri-Top Chest Binder Top 983

I am overjoyed with this product. I have a 32G chest and I have never been flatter. I own other Underworks binders and this one shines above the rest. The material is much more breathable and surprisingly comfortable (I'm neurodivergent and have super bad fabric sensitivity, so I was worried it would bother me. It doesn't!). HOWEVER!! If you have other Underworks binders, you might consider sizing up from your normal size. This material does not have much stretch to it and I had to struggle a little bit to get it on (I ordered medium). The armpits are also cut higher up on this model, which is great is you have a lot of breast tissue under your arms like I do. It does cut into the underarms a little bit but it isn't unbearable and I presume that it will soften up after a few wears. If you often disregard binder safety (as I am admittedly prone to doing), you will need to be more mindful with this product. It is noticeably tighter and more restrictive than similar binders, so you may need to take more frequent breaks. And a pro tip for binding bigger breasts in a half tank binder: instead of flattening your breasts downward toward the hem of the garment, try to flatten them toward your armpits (move them to the side of your body). This can cause bulging out of the arm holes in other binders, but I find that the higher cut of this one really helps prevent armpit bulging. I have been searching for the perfect binder for a few years now; this is it!!!

OK so, i ordered their econo chest binder two years ago and it did not bind AT ALL💔 a couple days ago i finally did some research on other underworks binders and found that the tri top has more stars and better reviews. i watched a youtube video reviewing the tri top and they said it has not one, not two, but THREE front layers (hence the name tri top). so i ordered it, i payed 10 dollars shipping because i'm impatient. It arrived the same day im making this review because i put the thing on and OML IT MADE ME ALMOST COMPLETELY FLAT!! and i can BREATHE??? 😭🙏🏻 i'm absolutely obsessed with the tri top binder. worth the money, it fits perfectly, the front is thick and sturdy, the back is stretchy, it's lightweight, did SUCH A GOOD JOB with the binding. what more could i want from a chest binder. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to achieve an almost completely flat chest. for reference i ordered an XL, my chest all around is like 43 inches and im chubby. the ONLY issue i have is very small and hardly matters, it rolls up easy but when you're 4'11 and 180 lbs you're gonna face issues with binders no matter what 🥲 so yeah, GO GET THIS BINDER ITS AMAZING!! if something new about this binder happens or if my opinions on it change i'll update this review 😍‼️🔥💯

I bought this based on the size chart. The compression is great! The fabric is stiff and thicker in the front. I wore this with a casual button up short sleeve shirt. The top edge of the front is high so I wore it buttoned up to the next to top button. So be aware not to wear it with lower cut shirts (like tanks wouldn’t work) or it will show. I think the top edge of the front has to be high like that to get maximum compression on the top of the chest. However I could only wear it for about 3 hours due to the arm holes cutting into my sides. I’m going to try the next size up though because the compression is that good.

Ill compare the gc2b binder and underworks for people like me who are wondering if they should get it. I have worn the binder for almost a week now and it's usually on for more than 10 hours (which I definitely do not advise, I have severe rib and back pain from that) First off- shipping was extremely fast, I live in southeast Europe and it came in around 5 days (had to deal with customs but that's because I ordered from the American Amazon like an idiot). You receive what you ordered, an underworks branded binder with the size and colour you chose. The binder itself is made out of some sort of rougher, mesh material, way more rough than the gc2b and slightly longer (I find that more comfortable). It was kind of itchy the first day, but I quickly got used and it doesn't bother me anymore. The shoulder straps and the neckline are more discreet, they're farther away from where your shirt neckline would be, the gc2b are really far up and could be seen under most of my shirts. The straps cause some tension and therefore my shoulders hurt ( kind of like I have sore muscles but that might just be me). Some people say the bottom of the binder rides up, that doesn't happen to me but everyone has a different body so take everything I write with a grain of salt. Lastly- the binder is, from what I can feel, a bit tighter than the gc2b, it does bind better (i have worn the gc2b one for more than a year and it might have been slightly stretched). But since its tighter it also causes more pain. I wear the binder, usually, for more than 10 hours, my back and rib pain has increased and there is added shoulder pain, sometimes it's almost unbearable. Otherwise the binder is perfect, I love it and I will definitely order more.

gc2b's quality has unfortunately been going down in the past few years and the binder I got in august from them is already wearing like my old binders I wore every day for a year and a half each. I was considering underworks and got a recommendation from a friend. Pretty sure I accidentally ordered the wrong size (M instead of L) so I stretched it for a day on a kitchen chair. Fit great after that- anyone who has had the same issue with a gc2b knows that takes like 3 days- instructions say to pull up from below instead of putting it on over the head, but at least for mine doing that works fine (actually comes off much easier than gc2b this way). Fabric is rougher and not very comfortable and like most reviews say the bottom sure does roll up but it's not that bad after the first few wears, and that's coming from someone with pretty bad sensory issues. Sometimes you will be a bit more aware of it compared to gc2b but it hasn't been too uncomfortable. I get winded like 5-10% faster so there is that. However if you are really concerned about the flattening quality of gc2b going down like I was this is definitely seeming like a great alternative. It does the job quite well, even with T shirts. Edit 04/03/23: So, this might just be a me-problem, but if this applies to you, you can take comfort in this. I do find that these binders loosen relatively quickly, as well, within a few weeks of purchase. This has a push-up effect on my chest and causes a lot of dysphoria even if it's still slightly flatter than non-binding. Throwing it in the dryer seems to help for at least a few cycles, anyway, but not forever. Starting to run out of options with binding here with surgery not too close for me. I have heard a little bit that this is common being on T longer due to higher muscle tone in the pectorals as opposed to earlier/ no T with just fatty tissue, thus making it less compressed. Whatever the case I have a very small chest and don't know why this is so difficult. I have knocked a star off, anyway, for this but it's still more comfortable than gc2b and gives me a lot less pain.

This binder is my baby, man. I re-buy it once a year and it works pretty well the whole year.

Still not wide enough, still too short and armholes still too massive for anhthing other than a b cup. Seams are still thin garbage but its all I can afford.

After trying GC2B, Underworks, BaronHong, and Xuji binders, underworks has been my favorite. I've tried both the 983 and the 975 and I greatly prefer the 983 because it binds better. The first couple of wears can be rough but once it's broken in, it wears fine. I'm currently 140lbs 5'11 using their small but I've used an XS when I was lower than 120lbs. Yes the bottom edge doesn't hug the body and around the neckline it won't fall flat against the skin but overall it fits better than any other binder I've tried and these are just things you have to deal with. It flattens well but still allows breathability. It's definitely stronger and has more structure compared to other binders.

This binder is amazing for binding even very large chests and making it look natural. It performs significantly better than most other binders I've tried. regular use would need to be worked up to as it can become uncomfortable fairly quickly, so just make sure you wear it in before longer periods of wear

It's best you order a size up and it's hard to get on but once it is it's comfortable,you breath fine and binds amazingly

I’ve been using this exact binder for years and it’s never faulted me. It’s less prone to wearing out than other brands like GC2B or spectrum, the material allows more breathable meaning I don’t get that horrible sweaty feeling with nowhere for it to go. It binds much better than other brands for me, and I can wear it daily for 8+ hours without discomfort. I’ve had several of these in the span of a decade and never had any issues with seams ripping and even my most worn out binders still work surprisingly well for days I’d rather take it easy. The material might be a bit of an issue for some people, but for me I prefer it over the more swimsuit esque materials of other binders. It can also dig in a bit at the sides, but it’s never caused me more discomfort than say a sports bra.
