I bought the twin-sized one in red.With the 20% off coupon, it came to a little under $30.IT'S GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY!It's super-soft polar fleece on top and bottom, and has evenly-distributed heat.The wires are spaced about 2" apart. The "wires" start about 13" in from each side edge... but because the TWIN SIZE **BLANKET** is 62" wide and a TWIN **MATTRESS** is only 39" wide, the extra 13" of UNheated overhang on each side is understandable. For safety reasons you would never want to tuck in anything that's wired and electrical under a mattress! -- To put it differently, the whole 39" width on the TWIN SIZE, has wires in it... that's the width of a twin mattress! -- -- There's plenty of length too -- I will say it is a little slow in heating up, but I just start it up about 15 minutes before I head to bed. It's not the hottest heated blanket I've ever owned (even on high), but the heat is uniform and comforting... puts me to sleep in a hurry LOLI'm very happy with it.I'm thinking of buying a king-sized one for the other room.

In northern Montana, moving here from Kansas, my feet get really cold, even adding extra socks. So, I bought this for heating my feet at night, in bed. Because the outer edges are not heated, I folded the bottom edge UNDER and main fold..and the upper edge folded back. And placing my feet between the 2 fold - keeps the blanket heat directed to one specific location in the bed. I have a feather comforter on top of that, with a quilt. So when I get into bed, I open up the folds of this blanket and my feet go inside. The control is easy to use and with a longer AUTO SHUT OFF - I don't worry about losing heat during the night.I tested the settings and found he MEDIUM heat setting was the best. I knew that a heating pad could not stay in place, and wasn't big enough for my feet moving around. I am 100% happy with this blanket, the softness and the heat settings. It works exactly how I wanted it to.

I've used this one for a couple of weeks now and it works just as I want it to. I have it between a top sheet and comforter and I run it on high for 20 minutes or so before I get into bed and the bed is nice and toasty. If it's a cold night, the low setting is fine for all night. Doesn't get too hot or cold. It has an automatic shut off, so I don't have to worry about forgetting to shut it off. It's a soft blanket, not especially thick, and just the right size for my queen bed. I'm very happy with it.

My last heating blanket gave out on me so it was time for new one. Didn't realize how little the last one was heating till I get this one. I love it! It heats up faster the my old one. I'll put it on warm or low, go brush my teeth for bed, and then by time I get to bed it's all toasty warm. So far it hasn't been too cold so I've only used the warm and low settings but with hot toasty the low is I'm not worried. It's also pretty soft too, doesn't scratch or cause any irritation.

i use this in the winter alot and it keeps me so warm, its super comfy sometimes i just fall asleep in it alone. great in the winter. although some parts would be warm and other parts would be cold which was weird

Love this blanket because of the multiple settings and the automatic turn-off if I forget and leave it on. The weight of the blanket is very comfortable and the fabric texture is soft to the touch. The blanket performs just as described and I've recommended to family members.

I wanted to wait till I washed it before I rode a review. Once I plugged it in it barely got warm. Just less than touching someone's forearm. But when I put another blanket over top. It heated up extremely quick.This blanket is good for lying in bed. But not so much on the couch because you need to put another over top. But once you have another blanket over it it gets very hot. I had it on high with a quilt over top. And ended up having two pea size holes melted because it got too hot.I don't suggest going above medium if you do put another blanket over top. and do Not fold it over itself. Washing is easy. You put it on gentle or let it soak by hand then put on spin. For drying I usually turn the dryer on for 5 minutes then toss it in on tumble. I've also put it on extremely low for a bit. But the idea is not to get it hot because it could melt in your dryer. washed it twice, still held up.

It’s good but doesn’t get as hot as the sunbeam we used to have.

Nice soft blanket, perfect size for sitting on the couch,( I hate those heated throws that either leave your feet or your shoulders cold😆!) The only downside is doesn't seem to heat evenly, there are definite cold spots..... but for the price and size it works for me!

I do like this heated blanket, it gets nice and warm at its highest setting. The blanket itself is not as soft as the pictures look, nor is it as lush and vivid a red as the product images are displayed. Not bad though in terms of overall experience, I like my purchase.
