Have been looking for a perfect coarse sea salt and I am glad to find it on Amazon. I didn’t want to go to a Korean/Asian grocery store for just salt. It looks like it is naturally sourced and not processed in a factory. Naturally made coarse sea salt does not have uniform shape and sizes and has a tendency to attract moisture as it is a natural humectant. The level of moisture depends on the weather and temperature. All natural salts naturally retain some moisture. This salt checks all the boxes. I am usually wary if the natural salt is too dry. Looks just like Indian Coarse salt that I have seen my grandma use in her cooking. I mostly use it to wash fruits and vegetables and sometimes use it when I am making chutney in food processor or mortar and pestle. I also use it to ward off evil eye especially when my husband falls sick or his cough /cold lasts more than 2 weeks. I also bought kosher coarse salt but that is too coarse and uniform in shape and size which indicates that it is made in factories.

Wife is happy and that makes me happy.

It’s salt. It tastes like salt. It’s good salt. But why is it wet?

My salt arrived wet. The inside of the actual bag was completely wet, and as a result, there was mold in the bag. Lots of tiny pieces of mold were scattered throughout the bag of wet salt. I've purchased this same product before-this is not what it normally looks like. This product looks like it's been sitting in a damp storage unit somewhere.

Fail to understand how, or why, anyone would package, let alone ship, wet salt.

If your making kimchi this is the salt you need. Love it, very consistent size throughout and great for salting the Napa.
