I got this insert for our guest/spare bed, and it had worked out fine. For the price I think this insert is great, it is not as fully or heavy as an actual down insert, but it does keep you warm. If you are a very warm sleeper or you don't like the weight of a traditional down insert, you make like this option better. It came out of the packaging pretty flat, but I put it in the dryer, per the instructions and it fluffed up pretty nicely. I've had this insert about a year and haven't had any issues with washing it, or wear and tear, it is still in perfect condition. If you are looking for a heavyweight super warm insert, this isn't it. But if you don't live in a super cold climate, or prefer something lighter this is a great budget option.
