I stained and wood burned this little box it held up with being burned but given it is a thin box you can't get very deep with the wood burning . But that was okay for me still did the job comes with 1 box and the hinge was screwed on straight on mine unlike some of the other costumers .

I bought this for a crafting project I have for an online class. It’s perfect for this. I’m going to make a homemade stain to put on it. I just need to get the sandpaper.

Adorably cute! These are easy to paint or stain and are light weight too. The clasps work great, no problem with the two packs of six (one dozen total) that I purchased. I used a wood graving tool (cheap to purchase) and decorated them with ease. I'll probably buy more to just sand down and decorate with the wood burning tool to have some look more natural. They would be great for Halloween treats/giveaways too. These little darlings are perfect for what I need them for. I'm a writer and plan to send these to book reviewers as a fun addition to go with my new book. They could be used to hide away jewelry, coins or even candy.
