Skechers Sport Men's Vigor Insight Lace Up

I've written reviews on certain items before I felt deserved commentary. When it comes to sneakers, I'm sold on Sketchers. Being athletic my entire life, name brand fashion has always played an important role, but not always the best in terms of performance. Advertising hype is one thing, fashion is another, but athletic performance truly matters most when your feet depend on quality. Once I wore Sketcher sneakers several years ago, whether in the gym training with heavy weight, doing aerobic activities, or just plain everyday use, the noticeable difference in the ergonomics of the Sketchers was very noticeable compared to other popular name brands which makes this sneaker a cut above the rest. The fit, feel, performance, durability, outstanding lasting quality, integrity, and workmanship made this particular sneaker the reason I'm taking time to write this review. For an all around cross-trainer, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better athletic shoe.

Skechers Sport Men's Vigor Insight Casual...is a great shoe! I wear it all the time. Skecher has been my go to athletic shoes since Nike went overboard with the crazy neon clown color schemes. Nike has decided that everyone wants to walk around with bright garish shoes which clash with everything.I want a athletic shoe that functions as well as looks good. The Skechers are comfortable, and they stand up to everyday use, abuse and gym workouts. I routinely walk 2-3 miles in the Skecher Sport Men's Vigor Insight Casual. After about 6 months you can tell the shoe has wear, but they are still wearable and function.

I wear a size 15 generally. But there is not good consistency in the shoe industry on size and sometimes I get shoes that are too big and sometimes too small. These fit quite well which is a relief because I generally have to purchase, return, and try shoes 2 or 3 times before finding a fitting pair.I purchased these because I walk a lot either with my dog or out hiking and good shoes are very important. My one complaint would be that they don't fit quite right around the back of the ankle and do rub a little. Tightening the laces doesn't help this issue. I have only noticed this on the right shoe, and don't usually have this issue on shoes.These shoes do provide a nice cushion for walking on concrete and asphalt.These are my first Skechers so I don't know how they wear yet.

I like Sketchers because the size I need seems to always fit in the shoe stores. The problem is, my size (11.5 wide) is only available in local shoe stores in very limited varieties. For years I have been disappointed that the Sketchers I really liked were NEVER the size I needed. As a result, I always "settled" for something in my size that was the least ugly. No more!PROS:*Here you can pick out what you want, and if you know a certain size traditionally fits you, then it is safe to order it here.*I find Sketchers to be a high quality, yet affordable choice in sneakers.*This particular style looks very nice, even better than it looks in the photos on Amazon.*No pesky salesperson asking if they "can help you" 5 or 6 times while you are in the store shopping. No, you can't help me if you don't stock anything I really like in my size.*The price here is within a few dollars either way of what you would expect to pay anyways in the shoe store.*This is the first pair of sneakers I have ever dared to order on-line. Nice to know it wont be the last.CONS:*There are none. My only concern was about fit, as of course you can't try these on first. But in this case, they fit perfectly.Bottom Line: Save yourself time and aggravation. If you know what size fits you, a whole new world of styles you will not find locally, all of a sudden are made available. I wished I had started ordering my Sketchers here years ago.

I've been buying Sketchers sneakers for the past 6 years. I loved the Sketchers Sparta sneakers but decided to try the Vigors. This sneaker is a bit more bulky that the previous Sketcher I had and not quite as comfortable. The sole near the tip of the shoe has also started to come unglued but my biggest complaint about this shoe is the lacing and tongue. The tongues don’t seem to stay in place very well and need to be pulled up frequently. The lacing also seems to stretch a bit and the laces frequently fall behind the tongue and irritate my feet. I will not be buying this shoe again but I’ll give another pair of Sketches a try.

It's a really good sneaker. After reading the reviews I expected fitting difficulties. Not with these. I did have difficulty with two other pairs of Sketchers. And Amazon was very helpful in facilitating the returns to third party vendors.The sneakers are very stylish and the fit is very comfortable. They also seemed well constructed but I am a pure amateur so I really can only comment from this knowledge base.But I really like them and would look to buy them again. Thanks, Steve G.

I am a really picky shoe buyer. I cant stand most of the ugly crap they sell in the stores these days, so I spend forever browsing trying to find something I like.This good looking shoe came and I'm really happy with not just the appearance, but the feel as well. Good support and comfortable to wear. Skechers are a great value and especially the deals here on Amazon.Highly recommend.

This is a very good, comfortable shoe and is of good quality. I have had several pairs of this style shoe the past few years and I really like them, and want to get some again. They look stylish, but not too sporty and the light gray is reflective--this is really good. When you are driving at night and you meet someone walking or biking the reflective material in this shoe really stands out! That is why I especially like these.
