Great for yourself but as a small gift as well
These are so cute, fun, but extremely practical. I bought two packs, 4 for me to rotate on my various purses and then another pack that I gave away as a gift to four different people. They have all beamed at the compliments they get when using them

A Bold Concept Undone by Mechanical Hubris
I really wanted to like this. I truly did. Unfortunately, this product and I did not achieve the harmonious relationship I had envisioned. First issue: it broke after only a few uses. Not after heavy abuse. Not after misuse. Just normal, everyday operation. For a product whose entire raison d’être is repeated use, that’s… suboptimal. Second (and arguably more impressive): on the rare occasions when it did function, opening it afterward required an unreasonable amount of effort. We’re talking excessive force, awkward angles, and a brief internal debate about whether continuing was worth the emotional investment. More often than not, we simply abandoned the task altogether, choosing peace over persistence. In theory, this item solves a problem. In practice, it introduces new ones — frustration, inconvenience, and a growing skepticism of my purchasing decisions. The design feels overengineered yet fragile, which is a fascinating paradox but not one I want in a household tool. In summary: unreliable durability, poor usability, and a user experience that borders on adversarial. I admire the concept, but execution matters — and sadly, this missed the mark. One star for ambition.

Sturdy lock
The do work to hold my purse on an edge. I like the wrap around design of the purse handle and it keep it from getting caught in other thing on my purse which it does. The issue I have had is l cannot get them to open up and have to pull and pull at the release. I’m sure some of it is user error but some is also design issues.

Item is good, easy to fold and unfold, strong enough to hold my purse. I wish it would have been a little bit lighter.
