The full upper grain leather provides for more strength and durability that a boot of this kind requires. To assemble the footwear, Goodyear Welt Construction is utilized. Goodyear Welt boots are extremely tough, known to be the most durable footwear construction. It provides excellent traction, as well as the best lateral stability of all boots. The foot bed is reinforced with a Texon board and steel shank providing additional support and stability. The shank forces the appropriate break at the ball of the foot, helping with arch support and relieving pressure off of your feet. Its eleven inches high to keep you dry and protected for a good way up. Imported.

Just bad boots
These are about one size larger than the labeled size. The soles are like planks of wood, the leather feels like cardboard. These are just the most uncomfortable pair of boots I’ve ever tried. They are on their way back to Amazon. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars and get yourself some quality boots.

Nice, comfortable boot
I have a narrow foot and use either a 10 1/2 or 11 boot size. Since the other reviews indicated that these run large, I chose the 10 1/2, which fits just fine. I also read reviews that this boot ran narrow, but (unfortunately) this was not true -- at least for me. However, I am used to this problem, so used inserts and heavy socks.

All around great boots.
These are great boots. They are comfortable and look good. They are durable and easy to pull on. The only complaint I have is the black die rubs off on my socks but I figure that will only last for a little while. I love these boots.

Lightweight, very comfortable
A great boot for long hours on your feet. The sole is softer and when paired with a good insole can make a long day have little impact on foot fatigue. Light weight makes for good comfort. Fits me snug with good support. Very happy with them!

Boots for dad

Returned them and haven’t seen a refund or credit
Returned them, didn’t fit. Problem with seller was no return funded back or credited to account! Poor communication was shipped back with label printed off and within limitations of policy.

Nice Boot for my Purpose
Overall i like the boot, but could have used one size smaller and of course they were out of stock. I wore them to fertilize my lawn and they cut into both of my shins.

My boot size is 10.5... all of my boots. These were like extra wide and 12.5

very comfortable!
very comfortable! very light weight, no unusual rubbing feeling from wearing then a couple of days.color true to picture.the only thing is they scuff easily, just getting them in and out of the box it came in, but that's the natureof the finish.I would recommend.
