Purchased from Amazon and it was genuine APA Publishing book. Caution about other sellers who sell unauthorized editions. I need this for school, clinicals and work so it must be the genuine DSM and this one is confirmed with the back cover QR code as authentic. If you’re a psychiatrist or PMHNP, get the real deal and spend a couple extra bucks rather than get stuck with a counterfeit book that may be missing Dx, etc. Consider it an investment in your practice.

My daughter needed this for school and she's already used it tons! This is a pricy book but it's priced on par so it's a good value. The book itself is good quality with a good, thick cover. The pages are just that, thin pages as you'd expect. She's able to highlight without much bleed through. The size is perfect for easy usage but travel too.

I liked it, I wish I chose hard cover than soft cover.

It's the DSM-- there's no other book on comparison. It's needed for professionals.

Came a little damaged, ordered a replacement and it had glue residue on the binder. I just decided to keep the replacement.

The revisions improve clarity and consistency without unnecessarily overhauling diagnostic frameworks that clinicians rely on in day-to-day practice. The text revisions, updated prevalence data, and attention to culturally informed language make it feel current and more clinically attuned.

The edition is not tiring. Good to read. Easy to find topics. The colors and designs make it easy to read. Paperback might get damaged more easily.

The text revised DSM-5 came super quick. I didn’t realise it was so heavy! The book is in great condition, I would define recommend buying from them, it’s like brand new and hasn’t got any marks or writing in it. It’s fantastic thank you.
