Gibson EliteOcean Paradise Square Reactive Glaze Stoneware Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 (16pcs), Amber

When I tried to refrigerate some leftovers, I discovered that cling wrap (Saran Wrap, for example) doesn't stick to these plates/bowls. (I thought that was interesting.)Also, when I received my order and found a blemish in one of my bowls, I contacted Amazon and was subsequently referred to the manufacturer for resolution. So I called Gibson about the problem and the young lady I spoke with told me the company doesn't maintain a stock of "extras". However, she did promise to check with her warehouse to see if there happened to be a replacement sitting on the shelf which might be shipped to me as a courtesy. A week later, I was happily surprised to find a box containing a replacement sitting on my doorstep.My bottom line opinion is that Gibson's dishware is very nice. The set I bought - the Gibson Elite Amber - is gorgeous. I'm a little disheartened by some of the other comments about how fragile they are, but armed with the knowledge, I'll handle these pieces with extra care. PS - Thanks to Gibson for the excellent service.

I always try to find nice plates, and I love the set of these, only I'd have wished for soup plates instead of the bowls. The dinnerware looks nice, and presenting food nicely is easy on such plates. I bought two sets to serve 8 people. Oh and I love that the mugs are actually pretty big. I'll update the post if there are any negatives to show up. 4 stars, as I think they are pretty pricey.

I really love these dishes. The color is really amber. I was afraid they would be too yellow but they aren't at all. The bowls are a perfect size. My old ones are too big and wide. They were also packed well when they arrived. I really have no complaints.
