Wonderful cookie for people with tons of random food allergies
I am so grateful for Cybele’s cookies!! We have a ton of tested and confirmed weird food allergies in our family and it makes it genuinely impossible to make cookies in our own or even buy/eat most “allergy friendly products. We can’t have soy, food dye, legumes (so no soy flour, pea flour, or bean flour if any kind), in addition to more common allergies to wheat, dairy, and eggs. Additionally, one of my kids is also very allergic to nickel, which includes all nuts and chocolate. These red velvet cookies (and the confetti cookies) from Cybele’s are literally the only cookies they can eat, and I am so grateful to be able to give them a treat instead of no cookies ever. Myself and my other child can eat chocolate, and we appreciate the chocolate chip cookies, too! Cybele, thank you so much for creating these cookies! You can’t know what a surprise, a joy, and a relief it was to find these and they’re safe. Please don’t ever change your recipe!!

Boxed came damaged
Thankfully cookies were fine. They are quite sweet with a little after taste but that’s typical for allergy friendly treats. I still enjoy these!

I shouldn't be allowed to purchase these.
They're too good, too addictive, too easy to scarf down the day I get 'em. For a guy with limited impulse control, these are downright dangerous.I understand they're not to everyone's taste. I'm not that familiar with red velvet cake, and reviews indicate the flavor of these is quite different. But for me, they have just the right pinch of salt mixed in with the sweet. And the texture is soft, but granular, which happens to be my preference.

tastes like it’s supposed to be healthy
i generally follow a vegan diet but not a gluten free one. if someone needs to follow both diets maybe this is worth a shot but the texture of the dough was kind of gritty in my opinion. it just tastes like they made a bunch of substitutions but didn’t find a way to make them into a cohesive cookie. i love that this brand tried to make a product that works for people with many dietary restrictions but i think the recipe could use some changes, won’t be buying again
