Maybe they’re intended for another application where that makes sense. That’s my only “criticism” but I don’t really care.

Great price, well made, perfect fit, easy to install, looks good, perfect brightness.We replaced the top amber clearance lights, and the blue courtesy lights, with these. The blue lights hurt our eyes and bothered our campground neighbors. These amber lights are so much better. If you can strip and crimp wires, these are a simple fix. I was able to do all 8 lights in less than an hour.

These really work great. Try them.
