This lamp is perfect in my living room by my desk. Remote allows not only dimming but settings for computer lighting , reading and writing. I saw many reviews claiming the remote does not work. It simply needs to be paired with the light. When first attempt did not work I unplugged light and removed and reinserted the batteries, plugged it back in and it paired perfectly. Would recommend

The product arrived as promised via Amazon Prime.The Gold Tone Colored Modern Looking Floor Lamp is stylish, elegant and sophisticated for any person who prefers to keep their living space en vogue with the changing themes of furniture and accessories of a modern home.The Lamp is Beautiful and was easy to remove from the box, packaging and assemble. They are no tools required for the lamp assembly, however, 2 AAA batteries are required for the fun and versatile remote. It is also best to have a 2fer in putting this item together although fairly simple(to keep the cord tight).The lamp shows off its best bulb features with the remote and the different settings and themes available to set the correct mood and allow for viewing and reading modes as well as a Baby Mode. Its quite a cute remote with trendy smart features. It is a delight to select the theme and look at the different bulb modes.I would definitely recommend this product as a statement piece that allows you to see the LIGHT!

Lamps work as intended. They look nice too. Remote works great, can have it any brightness. Shades are kind of cheap but look ok and easy to assemble, that's why the 4 star rating.

I loved everything about this lamp, I would have given it a 5 star rating but it unfortunately stopped working on the second day. I’m very disappointed & am not sure if I want to replace it with a new one in fear it may happen again. It looks like in the 1/2 star rating, everyone had the same issue. Really bummed*****UPDATE*****I was having a hard time accepting the fact that this lamp just stopped working, so I looked at the instructions again & realized there was a re-program feature. One way was turning the knob several times and the other was holding the power light button down for 5 seconds should reset whatever the issue is. I tried it & I am happy to say the lamp is back to working….I’ll change the star raining from 2 up to 5

The lamp seems good overall, but I can’t finish the assembly because the threads in one of the tubes are seated crookedly. So I can’t screw those two tubes together really guy - I kept trying anyway but now it’s stuck - I can’t assemble or disassemble. I’ve requested help from the manufacturer, but I can’t see what they can do - I can’t take it apart to return it and I can’t use. Too bad because it seems like a pretty good lamp otherwise.

This lamp is almost too easy to put together (note, those plastic rings fitted into the tubular stand sections are just there to protect the ends of the tubes - remove them before you start putting your lamp together). Despite this, it's a sturdy construction. Our version of the lamp came with a manual on/off switch as well as a remote control (which is cleverly magnetic and thus can be easily attached to the lamp stand). To be honest, we only used the remote to set the brightness and color of the smart bulb (set it once and it remembers) and then find it easier to just use the manual on/off switch (because I imagine that remote will never be where you want it to be when you want to remotely turn the lamp on and off). Still, it's a very nice feature particularly given the low price. The description of everything this lamp can do here on Amazon is completely correct so, if this is the style and functionality you're looking for, this is a great buy.

I bought two of these. Love the look, design and ease of use with the remote. The adjustable brightness is also great. However, I am VERY disappointed that one of these lights stopped working and/or constantly flickers almost immediately after purchase. Buyer beware, you have a 50/50 shot at a good product.

Easy to assemble. Just as pictured. It got 5 stars because of the remote feature! Omg! I love the remote and thesettings! The stand is ok. Typical metal floor stand.
