Q: Why are these $50 when most good choice is $30?

My experience with this company shoe products says order 1/2 size larger than you normally order.

Q: What is the width of the strap across in inches

I feel they are a normal width. Not too wide but not narrow. I gave trouble with shoes like this because I have a bunion, but these are very comfy. I bought 2 pair

Q: I know it says a leather sole but what is under that. is the actual wedge cork/ rubber or what?

There seems to be some padding underneath the sole, and the wedge seems to be hardened plastic or similar synthetic material.

Q: The same one I have before shows size 39. What is the size that I have to order?

To the best of my knowledge, a European size 39 equals a US size 6.5 in shoe size.
