Very nice book, full of lovely compositions that gradually get from easy to more advanced. My daughter plays the pieces all the time as they are soooo relaxing 😌.Thank you.

This is an excellent collection of very playable pieces in the contemporary style of Einaudi, Olivia Belli, Helen Jane Long et al. They are quick to learn and you can put your own stamp on them by varying the tempo (I like to slow pieces down), inserting pauses, altering the piano voice to suit the piece. This is a great book for just sitting down at any point and playing. This is actually a good primer for jumping off to play "easier" pieces by the likes of Einaudi as the left hand patterns in the book are common to the genre. Highly recommended.

Very nice compositions which start out very simple and progress to slightly less simple through the book. I was grade 3/4 but practice and lessons had gone by the board during lockdown, etc. I bought this book, and the previous one (Cinematic Piano) to get my interest going again and I am very much enjoying getting back in to playing again. Nice pieces which develop your skills in playing for an audience and in interpreting the music. By the end of the book imo the pieces are Grade 3.

I’m a relative beginner at piano , about 9 months in and don’t have a grade as yet but at best around Grade 1.The compositions in the book are nice gentle short tunes and you can also find them on YouTube if need to hear them as intended to be played . I found them not too daunting , fairly relaxing and a bit different from many of the contemporary resources for beginners

These are a great selection of beginner pieces that sound very nice.

The media could not be loaded.  Like the previous book this is a clear and easy to follow musical teacher but more centred around pieces of music which relax. This book is aimed more at pianists at grade 1 and 2 standard but the pieces progress from relatively easy at the start to more complex by piece 16. In this book there is more emphasis in encouraging the pianist to express themselves through the music (by not being too didactic about where to play loud and soft, or to a particular tempo) which helps the pianist to enjoy the music more rather than just achieving the composer's 'plan'. The video shows my son playing 'Into the Light' - the first piece in the book. A great way to teach music! Thoroughly recommended.
