I ordered this in the light blue color and was a little nervous that it would be obnoxiously bright. Fortunately, it's not bright at all. The color is a lightly grayed-out robin's egg blue. The fabric is a faux linen that has a pleasantly natural look, not super shiny like a lot of synthetic linen. It's not the finest upholstery job in the world but it's perfectly acceptable. The ottoman top and frame feel sturdy. For the money this is a nice little ottoman for small spaces.

I almost didn't buy this ottoman because there were so many comments about how it broke or didn't last. It looked well-made and it was the right height. We were buying it to replace our square coffee table, and many of the ottomans we looked at were shorter than 18" - the height of the coffee table we were replacing. This particular piece had the right look and perfect dimensions so I decided to take a chance, and I'm glad I did.I purchased it to replace a heavy, 3' x 3' farmhouse table that took up too much space in the living room. At the same time I wanted something sturdy that would provide storage for my grandson's toys. This ottoman turned out to be the perfect purchase. First of all, the construction is quality. It is tufted with buttons, and all of the seams match perfectly with the buttons on top. The lid is precisely aligned with the base and it opens and closes with ease. I almost purchased one of several other types and styles, but I'm so glad I chose this one.I can see how there would be an issue with this ottoman if it was purchased to hold shoes and used as a bench to put the shoes on. You cannot sit or put weight on this ottoman because it is not constructed as a bench. It functions beautifully as a coffee table and can hold board games, kids' toys or sheets for a sleep sofa. We put a tray on ours to hold drinks and remotes, and the streamline look really makes the living room look larger than it is. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Love this storage ottoman! It is well made and very sturdy. One of my legs was damaged but the seller was great to send me replacement without having to return the whole thing. I did not like the color of the legs though, they were more of an orangey color not brown as shown in the picture but I just spray painted with bronze metallic. Lots of storage for my blankets. Love it.

I got the beige with French script pattern as a coffee table or a bench, but with storage. Can’t decide where to put it - I might need 2 for both. See pics.I tried screwing in taller legs (from my couch ottoman but that compromised the stability, and they started bending. So, use it as is.So much storage inside!Easy to assemble, but I’m also good at assembling IKEA furniture, and I have tools. 50+ female high school English teacher can do it, so can you.Love it!(My cats have not scratched it so far…but I did spray it with scotch guard to keep the light color clean)

This is a great quality ottoman for the money! Has storage as an extra benefit. We have it in our little Airbnb and it compliments the furniture we have very well and provides extra seating, as well, if needed.

It’s a bit short so I ordered 6” legs for it and put carpet sliders on it. The opening is flimsy bc there’s nothing in the middle to stabilize it. It’s dangerous for kids. I tried to send it back bc mine also had spots where there was no padding at all also. They told me to keep and dispose of it if I wanted to. I decided to pack it full of linens and out of the way instead of an eating table etc

Arrived quickly, looks much better in person! And with new puppies, it works great as a place for them to sleep on.
