Easier than a string line or 2x4’s.

Pretty much useless unless you have 2 people, one of which does nothing more than hold one of the plates in position. Might get you close enough to get to the alignment shop but I do not trust the readings.

Just a product Idea: Would be great if it came with multiple length pegs for those vehicles that have more of a tire bulge or deeper spot on rim to put the pegs. Longer pegs would keep the plate off the tire at the bottom which could throw off themeasurement.Great at home alignment tool to adjust toe and more at home without paying the high costs to take it In and have it done. Sometimes when you do have an alignment done, all that is adjusted is the “toe” and that’s all that’s needed. And the. There’s times you take it in for a professional laser alignment because it is suppose to be accurate and you are trusting that shop to get your vehicles alignment perfect and when you get the vehicle back and drive home, you notice that the steering wheel is no longer centered which is annoying because they should have test drove after aligning it and noticed the steering wheel and fix it. Now you have to take your vehicle back and waste your time and have your vehicle out of use for another day. With this tool you can do it your self fairly quick and easy or you can even just check your alignment.

Don’t waist your time or money on this toe alignment tool. Cheaply made and poor workmanship. Alignment plates were not as described and did not match pictures. The included tape measure are a piece of junk and would not retract. Everything felt and looked like it came out of a cereal box. Very disappointed.

Maybe you can use this on super low profile tires? I tried using on 15" rims on my 4x4 and the rods that are supposed to touch the rims only touch the tires. Accuracy? I'm taking the truck in to get it aligned. I think it works great for initial alignment of toe-in prior to electronic alignment.

Alignment plates are slightly bowed or warped. I had to measure with plates two time switching to opposite sides of car for an average toe measurement. Somewhat difficult to set wheels to a precise toe.

As is, right out of the package, used as instructions intend, these do not produce repeatable results. The toe plates slide around because they do not have enough grip to resist the tension of the tape measures. I added a third bolt to the plates which touches the very bottom of the wheel. This simple modification provides repeatable results, but again, the tape measures need to be gently applied to prevent the plates from being pulled out of place.All in all, still a good value for anyone with a modicum of DIY skills and surely a quick way to get toe changes done in the shop, at the track, or side of the road.

One toe plate was missing the the long slots for mounting the standoff probes and the other plate was bent slightly. Now I have to wait another week for a replacement to arrive.
