I believe there under rated. Im running a 5000 watt Taramps and they handle it great. Have ti keep an eye on clips but wow!! Ported box from plans on website.

One of the best speakers I've ever owned. Also this distributer is one of the best. Coleman is always fast and reliable, but the best part is I always know what I'm getting when I order with him. The packages showed up 100% in tact and all of the product was as was described. Thanks for these amazing subwoffer. P.s. my neighbors are not a fan lol

This CT Sounds Meso 6.5" subwoofer thinks it's a 12" subwoofer. With it's 90oz magnet, Xmax travel of 8mm one-way, and high quality construction, even $150 is a great deal for such a small subwoofer, not to mention the $109 I got this subwoofer on sale for. With that said, you MUST provide this subwoofer clean signal for it to last, and for it to sound good it MUST be in a proper box. Don't go buying a Rockville 6.5" subwoofer box or even try to custom-fab a prefab 8" box if you want this subwoofer to hit deep and low. Get a custom box made. This subwoofer CAN and WILL go deep with the right box. Most 6.5" subwoofer boxes are tuned for 45+hz, and anything below 40hz is near inaudible with this subwoofer. Even though prefab boxes won't go low, they will be loud. 40-50hz this subwoofer sounds like a decent 12" to the untrained ear, and overall this subwoofer sounds very clean, articulate, and musical. If you want a small subwoofer that can go deep, this is the subwoofer for you.
