Durable, and an easy color to see under stage lighting.
I've been buying Clayton picks for decades at this point. Always great picks. I've never broken one. But I sure lose them a lot. I suspect they probably go to hang out with the missing socks.

Great warm Jazz/Blues pickโ- like using your fingertips
I wanted a pick as close to the sound of using my fingers for warm blues and jazz. These are very comfortable and sound great! Search ended though I need to try the 1mm, probably a great compliment when/if the 1.9 doesnโt fit. Another recent favorite is Herco ~1mm but very flexible compared to a normal 1mm. โโโSo my 3 favorite options are fingers, this and the Herco. And covers a lot of ground between them.

If you like acetal, try these
Lately, I buy these in .80 for much of my acoustic requirements. (I like Clayton ultex also). They are a little easier to hold for me than the Dunlop acetal because of slight size and shape difference, which I also use but in different thicknesses. I can't say these are the best picks to use as I like and own different picks for different sounds and styles. If I'm playing acoustic amplified, the same pick may not be what is needed for a song vs. unplugged and I want more ring or boom. The Dunlop ultems are a nice feel for my 12-string if I need more attack, etc. Flat-picking requires big and thick (for me) but I'm O.K. using these if I don't have something better available (blue chip?) What I can say about Clayton .80s is overall I use them more than the other picks, and I have a HUGE collection of picks I've tried over the years. So for a general overall acoustic pick, this is pretty versatile, sounds great on most songs, and shaped right to easily hold without any gimmicks. I own and have used other available picks from Clayton and they are all really nice and useful for their intended use. I think the only thing you really need to understand is the differences in acetal, ultex, delrin, cellulose, wood, nylon, etc. and the only way you can learn that is to buy and try 'em all. But if you like acetal (like I do) then try these.

Real deal..
Been using these for over 20 yrs so I'd know right away if they were a cheap knock off. They are the real thing and as much as I lose them good to know I can get more here cheap and fast!

Slightly Larger than Normal
Clayton picks are just slightly larger than a traditional Dunlop or Fender style pick. Not a huge thing, but it mahy bother some players.

My go-to picks for acoustic and electric guitar
I get that pics are very subjective and every guitarist is going to have their preferred brand, style, thickness. But these are mine! They are a good value for the cost, sound very clean (reduce much of the pick noise found with other styles. I like the surface texture, which is smooth but grippy. I think the logo is great and the brand has been consistent over the years. If you are looking for a new pick give these a go!

These are the only pics I buy. I've been using them for over 10 years.
I have been using these Clayton pics for years. They are the only pics I buy. My favorite thing about them is that they never tear or break. I don't know how long they would last but it would be a looooong time! I play guitar professionally and have for years and I've never had one of these pics wear out on me. The only reason I have to replace them every once in a while is because I lose them or loan / give them to other guitar players. Oh and by the way in case you are wondering the only ones I buy are the .50 mm. This number represents the thickness or flexibility of the pic. I have found the .50 mm pics to be the perfect balance between flexibility and rigidity. Of course this will be a matter of preference for guitar players but .50 mm works great for me. I would recommend .50 mm as a good starting place if you are not sure which ones to get.

My go to picks
My go to brand. Love these picks and been using them for years. I still suck as a guitar player, but have cool picks.

Very good picks for beginners.
After trying a lot of different picks, I tried these and as a beginner, it helped me a lot. Still using my first pick from this lot after 6 months. They are really good. Good size. Comfortable to hold. Very thin and forgiving. Really helped me to get the strums even. Highly recommend for beginners. Quite pricy for a pick though. Get them from US if you can. Sellers are marking them up here.
