Audiophile? Ah, no. Got a low end amp with RCA's to connect to some speaker terminals? Hugh Betcha!
I like to mess with electronics, and sometimes I come across low end amps, stereos and record players that used RCA plugs for the speakers. (It was common in the 1960s and 70s.) Usually the speakers were cheap and hardwired to RCA plugs, and often if you find one of these systems, the speakers are missing. So, why not wire those systems up to those little bookshelf speakers like the Minimus 7, or those Teacs that used to come in the metal enclosures? I have a couple of those little Realistic and Optimus amps with RCA plugs, and I have some small speakers with push terminals from a later era when speakers were connected with speaker wire stripped on each end. These are perfect for connecting those speakers to your little amp.I've never had a problem with the RCA end (I've bought a few sets of these), so I can recommend them. I've used those little amps to play music from my phone's headphone jack, the "line out" from portable CD players, and to test turntables and record changers. (The Optimus SA-155 has ceramic and magnetic phono inputs, but I digress. We're just talking about the speaker wires here, folks!)They are heavy enough gauge. (18 AWG. Good enough for 15 Watts out of an RCA plug!) If you had a better amp that used RCA plugs (not likely) these are still decent. The RCA design itself is probably the weak link, but that's dictated by the amp.The wires are good enough that even if the RCA plugs eventually die or you change to an amp with push or screw terminals, you could snip them off and strip the ends to make basic speaker wire to connect the more popular way. Audiophiles will argue about the 18 AWG wire, but we're not talking audiophile or high power here. We're talking about little vintage stereos and amplifiers and little, basic speakers which originally connected with even thinner speaker wire! It's amazing how much difference speakers make to even the most basic amps. If you've got some little Polk, Yamaha, or Mission speakers lying around and you want to hear them on your vintage Zenith MicroTouch stereo, unplug those "Circle of Sound" single drivers and use these cables to connect your two way speaks and hear the difference! (If I had one of those, I would definitely wan to hear my Polks on it!)What's got 2 RCA plugs and 4 stripped and tinned ends? These guys!

Superior cables, even for visually impaired individuals
These speaker cables are getting harder to find being that a lot of the home stereo receivers are "All In One" units these days. Fortunately Amazon still supplies these cables for stereo components and speakers sold separately. What is even more fantastic is that these come two in a pack with the plugs color coded to verify the left and right channels for super easy identification and hookups. Highly recommend this product to all of those still preserving those vintage stereo components. These will also work great on console stereos that allow external speakers to be connected providing the console stereo units have the RCA speaker jacks, as some will have the screw type terminals, however, if your speaker has the RCA jack on the back, simply reverse the cable for easy connecting.

valueable and strong
I bought to connect my audio speaker to my new vinyl record player. It does its job. 2 cables in the package, for two different speakers. If you are very picky about the audio quality it may not be your product, but that's not who I am. I don't have either a big audio system so I was not able to test its full quality. I'd buy it again for another compact system. the cables are only 6' long

Connection wires
I have not used them. I ordered them and they’re the wrong thing for my product now I never returned them. I’ll probably keep them, but I’m sure they’ll be great if I had it for the right product ha ha

Special purpose, and very well made
I bought these to go on some new speakers that have bare wire connectors, and then to be able to plug them into an RCA output on an amplifier. I tried making my own with some old RCA cables, but wasn't successful. These are very high quality, and I believe the wire is 14 gauge, which is good for short runs of speaker wires. Nothing here disappointed. I would have chosen a longer length if I had a choice, but I instead just added some length using some lamp cord I had.

Hey, it's speaker wire. It's good. it's cheap
Don't tell me about gold connectors and nitrogen filled casings and all that. I got this for a set of bookshelf speakers being driven by a small tube amp and hey, they sound great! (I made a small stereo for my adult daughter for Christmas). Before you spend a ton of money on speaker wire, make sure you bought really great speakers. I have 2 sets of Klipsch Heresy speakers from the 70s and some Ohms also and they sound awesome with plain wire and banana connectors.Buy the wire and save the money :-)
