Comfortable, simple leggings for men
TRY ON - BEFORE EXERCISE (scroll down for after exercise)I’m 6’5”, 180lbs and ordered medium in black.I have worn premium “womens leggings” in the past (athleta specifically) and have been waiting for someone to make a cut for men that has the things I like about those: soft material, comfortable compression, simple pockets and no extra silly design features just because they’re for men. These leggings hit all of those criteria. I was worried the inseam would be too short but the material is stretchy and of a quality that 28” fits my legs and didn’t move around or up when I did some squats to test that out.I tried out the water resistance by spraying a little water off my hand. It does roll off a bit! Definitely would make a difference in drizzle, real rain probably wouldn’t bounce off. They’re nice and warm but not oppressively so - nice and breathable. The thicker material on these thermal leggings provides some modesty around my genitalia and I couldn’t see a visible panty line from my boxer briefs which is fantastic. The only thing I don’t like as much as “womens leggings” I’ve worn is the rise- I like that these have a high rise (up to the belly button, if I want) but the drawstring design isn’t as comfortable as the additional panel of fabric found on high rise womens cuts. That panel on womens also holds you in around the belly which is great when running!Bottom line, these are the closest mens leggings I’ve found to premium womens, but maybe I should stick to womens cuts as a personal preference. I’m excited to try non-thermal baleaf leggings too!AFTER EXERCISE REVIEWReally good experience overall!I don't think I need to tie the drawstring too tight at all to keep these up: they're high-rise and compressive enough to stay put (especially once I started sweating, leggings start to "stick").I kept my phone (iPhone 12) in the right pocket the whole run and it disappeared - really well placed and tight enough pockets to be super functional.Out in direct sunlight I noticed the color isn't black-black. More of a very-dark-blue-black. This isn't a huge issue for me but thought it was worth mentioning.I ran in the high 40s after doing little exercise over the last couple months (thanksgiving, christmas, crazy schedule) and the leggings kept my out-of-shape knees and joints nice a warm from the start. I thought I'd made a mistake wearing them at this temperature but by the time I was back I had forgotten I was wearing them and I put that down to the breathability. The waist band sweat situation was interesting - because of the way the fabric is rolled for the waist band, the "outside fabric" faces inward, which results in a lot of buildup of sweat because that's the water-resistant side. The rest of my body stayed relatively dry - no more or less sweaty than I'd expect in premium womens' leggings I've worn in the past.Overall still a 4 star for the color and the waistband thing, but these are the best 'mens' leggings I own as of now. Make a womens with long inseams and I'd probably buy those instead for the better rise on the waist.

The crotch seam is the only problem.
I'm 6'2" athletic 230 lbs, and these are the most comfortable thermal pants/tights I've ever worn, and I've tried many. Thick, warm, silky smooth, snug fit all over. I struggle to find comfortable pants and underwear that fit a man with bigger butt, thighs, narrower waist (masculinity done gone outta style). Very happy to discover baleaf leggings. They fit me perfectly. The seam down the center is the only problem. It forces your goods down into either pant leg. Baleaf, please make a variant of these with a gusseted crotch keeping everything else the same. Also I saw lots of reviews complaining about the high waist. Couple things to note there. Yes, they come up pretty high, which I know is unusual for most men's clothes now, but it works here for a few reasons. If you really hate wearing pants a little higher, these can be worn folded over on the hips comfortably. Wearing underwear under these to secure things lets you wear them lower as well, because they stretch enough the crotch can be worn a little lower without restricting or tearing. If you have a shorter torso however, they're still gonna be up on your belly regardless. I wear these all the way up. I have issues with pants sliding down in the back, especially annoying with base layers, but the drawstring being above the hips makes it literally impossible for these to slide down. I bend over as far as I can and they don't move at all. I find I also like the feeling of light compression over my lower belly and hips. It flattens it out. Narrowing the waist makes the thighs look bigger as well as broadening the chest, shoulders and back - sort of a classic body builder look. I USED TO dislike high-fitting pants but once I got used to it I don't mind it anymore, and sometimes prefer it, like with base layer clothes.I'd recommend these to anyone and again, Baleaf, please give us a variant with gusseted crotch.

Terrific thermal leggings
I can't believe I waited this long to try compression workout clothes. These are very comfortable and warm. These are the middle weight material, this vendor also has a heavier legging version with better water resistance for wetter locations, but they have zippers up the calf. These are very soft inside, very warm in cold seasons. I love wearing these at the climbing gym and out with my doggos. Very versatile.

Thick & warm. Waist is too high. Cut is loose in knees. Pilling after 10 wears & washings.
I'm 5'10", 145#. Size small is bigger than it needs to be and there is excess material around the knees and upper thigh. Length is generous and ends properly at ankles. Waist band is about 2-3 inches higher than I'd like and easily covers above the belly button when pulled up.Overall, with it riding on my natural waist-line, it gives a sloppy look with excess fabric that, for stretchy leggings, says they are sized bigger than they should be.Material is thick and absolutely opaque (blue color purchased) and is quite cozy for lounging or layering.Already getting light pilling after 10 wears and washes. It's not bad and part of that could be from wearing under jeans as a thermal layer.

Warm pants - long Johns with pockets
As a straight father of three, I’m embarrassed to admit it; these are my favorite winter pants and I wear them all the time. I’m skinny and hate being cold. These are perfect. Too warm for the gym, but just right almost all other times. I can throw on another pair of lightweight pants overtop if it is really cold outside, using these as long Johns. I’m mostly still too self conscious to wear them out and about. But I will throw shorts over top when doing athletic activities in the cold, but that is still not a mainstream look. It’s like the late 1990’s when women were self conscious about wearing althleisure out and about. Fortunately, my family is accepting of my choice to wear these around the house in lieu of sweatpants.

Snug but warm as advertised.
These tights were so much thicker than I thought. The are warm, give when you need the give but hold me in where I need it, and no lines where you don’t need them. They are snug and feel tight , or maybe that’s the weight I’ve gained.
