Great Product - Don't Forget to Read the Directions
Updated Review: I'm coming back to update my review. Initially, I rated this product as poor because of the flavor. I attempted to still give it a go because I did notice an improvement in my hydration. It turns out, the flavor issue was my fault because I failed to read the directions. SHAKE it. Shake it good and there's zero salt flavor. As I mentioned, the improvement in my hydration was noticeable and I continue adding this to my water on the daily. Will I buy it again? Absolutely, yes. I'd also like to apologize to the Hi-Lyte team who generously offered a refund, assuming my review was about a faulty product. That was very generous of you, but the product is not the problem; my reading comprehension is the problem hahaha. Old Review: No flavor = saltwater pool flavor. Very hard to choke this down. Would not buy again.

Great product is very little taste so you can sneak it into Popsicles for kids too
I just moved from a rainforest climate to a very high altitude Alpine desert climate and was suffering from dehydration, no matter how much water I drank. I could not stand any premade mixed powdered electrolyte drinks so I bought this product. It hasnโt let me down. It is basically tasteless with just a little salty to it, but I donโt mind that because I put the full amount in my morning smoothies, popsicles (coconut water, fruit and these drops)or in my coffee a quarter teaspoon at a time. It has been a lifesaver for my skin and kept my daughter hydrated who absolutely wonโt drink enough water.

Usually Works Well
I've ordered this product more than once, and it's really helped. I like that it's sugar free, and has no flavor. I add it to my water and it effectively replinishes my electrolytes. The only reason I took off one star is because when I got my order today, it had leaked inside the bubble envelope. I opened it and found the seal was broken inside, even though the plastic wrap around the lid was not damaged. Amazon customer service was fantastic. Tushar quickly and courteously refunded my money. I'm ordering another (going to think positive!) because it really is a good value considering there are 48 servings.

Best electrolyte/magnesium supplement on the market.
I've tried several of these products and this one is the best. For one, it uses sea minerals instead which helps increase bio-absorption (Nuun, in contrast, uses magnesium oxide which absorbs horribly). It also has a bit of Zinc, which most don't, and that's always a welcome bonus, because unless you're eating a lot of shellfish, you're probably not getting enough of it. Also it's nice that it DOESN'T have calcium, because calcium competes with magnesium for absorption, meaning if you're taking a supplement with a lot of calcium too, it's likely much of the magnesium isn't being absorbed. This is important because it's likely you're already getting plenty of calcium in your regular diet, and much more likely that you're deficient in magnesium. It's also difficult to get the full RDA of potassium every day so that's a lovely bonus as well. I've taken this product for a while now and the difference is noticeable. I sleep better, and my muscles get less tight after workouts, they don't cramp, and they recover faster. It's also nice that this product is strictly the nutritional supplements of interest, leaving the task of flavoring to you to decide rather than bundling the two together. I like to put 12 drops in each 8oz glass of sparkling water I drink throughout the day, mixing in nothing except some pure lemon juice for flavor. If you ever wake up with achy muscles, or you find your muscles ever getting crampy, there's a good chance you may be magnesium deficient. Give this product a shot! However don't overdo it at first: like ALL supplements with magnesium, if you take too much, it may cause diahhrea. I find I can supplement up to 100mg of magnesium a day before I have any problems, (sometimes up to 150mg if i've done a lot of sweating). But everyone is different: some can tolerate a lot more.

The easiest way to get your electrolytes is from liquid
July 2018 and I am UPDATING my original review. I like the product. I thought it was a good deal for the price. And they did have a life long customer until I came back today and found they had jumped the purchase price more than 25% which I think is blatant greed so I am off to try some of their competitors - gonna start with Lyte-show and I'll post a review of that once I've tested it out. This review is from January 2018 I purchased Hi-Lyte for a water fast and it worked exactly as it is meant to so I had zero leg cramps and it helped assuage the hunger. If I use the full dose it tastes a bit salty so I generally underdose very slightly and I find that palatable. As a long distance runner I have been using electrolyte tablets since the 80s and Hi-Lyte is so much easier and works so well that they now have a life long customer.

Easy-peasy! Bottle is small to take with you anywhere,
Just shake the bottle well and drop the drops. Just have to trust that the electrolytes are there as these are unflavored and have no color.

The only thing I could recommend is cranking up the amounts and making one specifically ...
Since last month I've been working on Extended Water Fasting along with intermittent fasting. I needed something to boost electrolytes during long fasts (3+ days mainly). Your product works perfectly. The only thing I could recommend is cranking up the amounts and making one specifically for people who do this kind of thing. It is a growing trend right now and if you were able to at least up the potassium to 10% of daily value we might be getting closer to being the only electrolyte substitute needed for longer extended fasting. Right now I take a potassium supplement along with the Hi-Lyte, so perhaps a more concentrated bottle with a price markup would be an idea for your company. Those who are fasting try to take in more than the recommended daily values because those values normally account for food being taken in as well. The amount of water we are drinking, we lose a lot more of our electrolytes throughout the day with zero replenishing except for supplements like this. All that being said. This product is great overall. It doesn't taste bad. The recommended dosage of drops is a great market, I add about 10 more drops to a regular water bottle and it's a great taste, especially when cold. It does the job and keeps the electrolytes I need and keeps my body running on longer fasting weeks. ONLY downfall I noticed, was that I left the bottle in the car on the middle console. It was on its side. It was closed completely and snapped shut, but possible temperature fluctuation caused a leak somehow and I ended up with mountains of solidified salt crystals in the center console which wasn't fun to clean up. Learned the lesson there. Perhaps a warning on the label about leaving in hot/cold places but was likely just my own silliness. Thanks for a great product!
