Sound Sensor didn’t Work
Really neat piece for Halloween, but it only worked on the “try me” function. The sound sensor did not work. Amazon is sending a replacement. I hope the next one will work!

Size and quality not at all what I expected. Very poorly made. flimsy and lightweight.

Cheesy At Best
love Halloween and all the decorations that go with it. I’ve seen the motion activated picture frames for a while and decided to give one a try. I ordered this particular frame because of it’s size, and I liked the image. The frame arrived, and I quickly unpacked it. It looked pretty decent at first glance. One thing I immediately noticed…and didn’t like…was the fact that it didn’t have an attached frame stand. The only way to display it was on the wall. I don’t know about you, but I don’t fancy putting more holes in my walls just to hang a seasonal decoration. I guess I would just have to set on the table and hope it doesn’t fall.I proceeded to put the batteries in. The battery compartment has a screw that holds the cover on. That, for me, is a major turn off. A clip is so much more convenient. I put the batteries in and went to secure the cover….it wouldn’t catch. The screw hole was stripped….great. As you can see in the pic, I had to secure it with a piece of tape. The frame has two powered settings….motion activated and ‘try me’ mode which requires you to push a button on the bottom front corner of the frame to activate it. I thought they only did that with store displays. I proceeded to set the frame to ‘try me’ mode and pressed the button. It lit up and started to ‘speak’ for lack of a better word. It was typical ‘Halloween banter’ that’s more annoying than scary. And there are a couple of different phrases built into the frame. With a lot of the motion activated frames I’ve seen, the picture actually seems to ‘follow you’ as you walk by it. This one does not. It picture is a 3d holograph, but it’s mediocre at best. There are a lot of better ones out there.Well, I have to say I’m definitely disappointed with this frame. It’s cheaply constructed and the effects leave a lot to be desired. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Good enough for my spooky scene.
I ordered the 3D Motion Activated Haunted Photo Frame with Light and Creepy Sound-Luminous Portrait Halloween Prop Decoration (Style 1)3D Motion Activated Haunted Photo Frame with Light and Creepy Sound-Luminous Portrait Halloween Prop Decoration (Style 1) to use in a haunted house decoration scene. It arrived looking just like the pictures. This thing is lightweight with a cardboard back and a hanging hook. It doesn't come with batteries (you will need 3 AA batteries of your own), nor does it come with a screwdriver (you will need a tiny screwdriver to open the battery compartment.)There is a switch on the back to turn it on and off. In the "on" position, it detects and reacts to loud sounds like clapping or banging, and it lights up and talks. The sound it makes is very loud and sounds like a cheap recording. It's kinda cheesy, but it's what I'd expect for the price. The visual aspect is one of those hologram style panels where it looks a certain way and changes depending on the angle you look at it. The frame is a gold plastic, and the entire thing sticks out from the wall a few inches.I like that I can hang this up, and I like the option to switch it off when I choose. If I weee to change anything, I'd improve the sound of the recorded voice, and add a stand to the back to give this the option to be used as a tabletop frame as well as hanging on the wall. Overall, not bad for $13. It works for what I need it for.

It’s spooky but needs to loud to activate
The media could not be loaded. Well let me start with quality, it’s poor, you can just see on the back, very flimsy. Cheap plastic and lots of flows. You also need tiny screwdriver to get 3 AA batteries in there, I keep one handy because I have kids and most toys need one so got lucky there. Also it react on loud noise, just talking or clapping won’t activate it so as far as that I’m going to put it on the front porch and hopefully scare some people. I think it’s a great idea just needs to be better quality, I’m not sure if it will last more than 1 season.
