Excellent air nailer. Compact, EZ to load and use. Perfect. Great value !! 5 Stars ,indeed.
I like this new air nailer alot. Well packaged, complete with safety glasses , bottle of oil, wrenches. It was "shovel ready" from the minute I hooked it up to my compressor. It drives nails cleanly through heavy asphalt shingles. Quiet and easy to use. Fits my hand and my crews hands , with gloves on , perfectly. EZ adjuster. I am a professional contractor, I select and buy all my tools. I bought this nailer, no "promo" or freeby from them. Perfect. I give 5 GREAT STARS for this nailer for Value. Price point is important on my contracting jobs. I had a older yellow nailer that was leaking air and needed a rebuild. That meant 2 - 3 weeks out of service while repairs were conducted. No Way !! I need a good working gun. So I bought this instead of frigging around.. Good choice to go new , and not wait for repairs to my old , heavy , clunky ,yellow gun. I am very pleased and am not afraid to bounce it around on the roof , or in back of the truck at days end. TOOL FREE EZ depth adjuster , right on the front , is ideal. instant depth change!! Nice. I tried this gun from 80 psi to 110 psi , and it worked great in all settings. I like to use it at 80 psi. Runs a long time and the compressor doesnt have to breathe so hard. Yes, I am a happy roofer with this new nailer. Very satisfied and would buy another in a second. Great value. 3 PLUS tools has a great air nailer. Thank you 3 PLUS and AMAZON for fast , free shipping to my remote location on the Maine coast. Eastport , Maine

Great value, quality tool
This is a really great value vs more expensive options. We’ve used it to install cement board siding on a shed and it has worked very well. Saves a ton of time and we haven’t had any issues.

Some Issues
I have a 3+ framing nail gun also that I took a chance on years ago and was pleasantly surprised, so I chose to go with this brand again when our porter cable took a dump on us during this latest roofing job. This gun performs as expected. It worked well out of the box and allowed us to finish the last ~1,000sqft of roof we had. One complaint I have is that it likes to overdrive the nails. the depth adjustment spins freely and easily with no way to lock it out. I adjusted it almost all of the way out to get it to drive the nails the way I wanted for the hot day nailing comp shingles and it would slowly work the adjustment out to overdrive them. I finally realized what was going on and then started adjusting the depth back to where I wanted in after ever row of shingles. Pain in the rear? Sort of... My framing nailer of this brand has a switch on the grip to go between "double tap" and safety nailing (where you have to release the trigger before the next shot) (Ask me and my 3 nailed together fingers how we know that's a nice feature...) I was expecting this coil nailer to have the same feature, but it just comes with a replacement trigger that you need tools to replace. Not a big deal and that's the standard with other brands. (Also, when would you use the safety trigger on roofing??...) The grips on the side of the head to keep the gun from sliding off the roof are not good. Likes to slide. Also, after our small section of roof, the paint and grips were pretty heavily worn. I wouldn't expect this unit to hold up for very long. It also sparks a lot with nearly every shot, even freshly oiled. I'm sure that'll wear-in, but probably also wear out pretty fast. Upshot- I'm a general contractor so I use tools a lot professionally, but I don't like taking roofing jobs so I don't plan to use this very much. It worked just fine for us and for the price you just can't beat it. For the professional roofer, it's not going to work for you. But the pro roofer will probably never even entertain a generic brand like this anyway so why bother mentioning it...

roof nail gun
It worked great. It’s not a professional model for everyday heavy duty use but great for the price. Worth purchasing.

Well worth the price compared to a daily rental
My husband bought this to redo the roof on a 10x16 shed. I'm so glad he did. The gun did not jam although it did double nail twice during the entire job. We found if we held the gun firmly against the shingle it drove nails properly. We used 1-1/4 inch nails from a local home center which worked well. Bith of us enjoyed redoing the roof and completed the job quickly. Well worth the price compared to a daily rental.

The nail chamber is not lined up with the feed aray so it takes a bit of pushing to get everything closed up. Gun works perfectly and saves a lot of time. Great product.

Came with a broken hinge right out of the box .. very cheaply made .. pay the extra for a good one because this one is not it ! I wanted to buy this for my partner for father day and ordered it .. it is past the return window and I should have opened it up to check it before that date but I literally know nothing about tools ... never even used and its broken... spend your money on a good quality gun .. I definitely should have read the reviews first.
