Learning Another Language
This book does a great job with showing English and Hindi side by side to help introduce children to a new language! There are also additional words to learn at the end of the book. Also, the illustration was very vibrant and captivating! This book made it fun to learn another language!

Wonderful book - easy and enjoyable to read and a great way to expose your kids to another language!
Love this book and the mission of Apni Heritage! My family speaks Hindi and my husband's family speaks Gujurati so I purchased the Hindi and Gujurati versions. Love how simple and easy to read these are - they also helped me pick up on some Gujurati words! Highly recommend these books especially if you want to expose your kids to other languages/sounds.

Great Content, Easy to Read and Nicely illustrated!
This is one of the finest Bilingual books and a blessing for parents who wish to introduce their kids to Hindi. I ordered it for my daughter’s Bilingual Read-a-Thon and she thoroughly enjoyed reading with me. Parents who are thousands of miles away from India in countries where Hindi isn’t as organically taught as in India, this is a great book to help your kids learn some basic Hindi words. And the English words help kids connect to words easily. The language is simple, story is engaging and the illustrations are beautiful!

My 2 year old's favorite Hindi book
Ek Naya Din written by Anuja Mohla, illustrated by Noor Alshalabi is a lovely relatable story of day in the life of Reyan where young readers get to explore the world that he sees. The book introduces Hindi vocabulary on food, colors, numbers, opposites through day-to-day conversations. The story has English translation and transliteration in addition to the Hindi script. Being a parent with limited linguistic proficiency in Hindi, the translation is very helpful. The simple text and storyline make this book my toddler's one of her favorite bedtime reads.

What a wonderful resource !!
This book is such a great read. My kids are just starting to learn Hindi script at ages 7 and 10 and this would be a great first read for them as well. Though, I imagine this would be great for toddlers learning their first words too. Am so excited for a Hindi book available for kids who are on training wheels with Hindi. Lovely illustrations too !!!

A must buy children’s story book with Hindi-English script
Such a beautiful and colorful picture book with a simple and fun story - very helpful in teaching conversational Hindi (with an English translation at the same time) to your little ones. The book also has the Hindi script which is hard to find in kids story books. It gives parents/adults to practice reading the Hindi script. Love the little details on each page, that make interesting conversation points for parents and kids during story time. Highly recommend this unique yet relatable book with a multicultural aspect! Loved it!

Learning a new language should start early.
There is a page where you have to count things Ryan sees out of the window. I get everything but the one car. Would that be the white car or the black car? And why doesn't the other one count? Yes, a book that has children counting needs to be accurate. There isn't a lot to read here: one sentence on each side of the page. Well, technically it's one sentence per page since it is reading an open book. Anyway, not a lot of reading. However, I don't think there needs to be more because I don't see reading as the purpose of this story. I think the purpose is to learn a foreign language. In this case that would be Hindu OR English - whichever one you don't know. However, if you don't know the language, I have no idea how you learn to pronounce the words. I will leave that to you to figure out. I took off one star for not showing the pronunciation. The illustrations are very colorful, and that is good for holding a child's attention.
