I love this book. So glad it's available in Ghàidhlig.
I wish there were a digital version! However, I'm glad for the physical book, too. I can enjoy my favorite book from childhood and learn Scottish Gaelic at the same time.

This translation feels very true to the spirit of the original, and is a wonderful read.

Alice in Gàidhlig/Gaelic!
A wonderful rendering of Lewis Carroll's classic into Scottish Gaelic/Gàidhlig. It has been a great addition to my Gàidhlig library and I have learned a whole host of vocabulary using it. I would recommend it to all learners of the language.

A 19th century tale in 21st century Gaelic.
This translation of the Lewis Carroll classic is greatly enhanced with the inclusion of John Tenniel's 19th century illustrations.there are interesting notes by the author in the prologue.

Lovely idea but a poor quality book for the price
I bought this as a gift for my great niece as she is at a Gaelic school and I thought it would be nice for her to have a copy of this classic book. For the price it is a very poorly made paperback. The first thing that struck me when i opened the parcel was the cover, it was damaged at each of the 4 corners, so much so that I initially thought it was second hand and not new. On a second look I realised that the problem was the plastic coating of the cover it was folded back at each of the 4 corners of the book & it won't take much handling for it to start peeling off. Once inside the printing is variable throughout the book and so faint in places you can barely read it. It's a lovely idea but it's certainly not a book that will last. Very disappointing for the price paid
