Beautiful lovely sound in singing bowl. Would have been 5 stars except a couple of finish marks on the bowl and the stick. But it does give it individual character.

Déçue par ce bol pourtant proposé à 110€ en prix barré. Ce qui me paraît très excessif compte tenu de son diamètre, de la prestation globale et du chant développé.Il est effectivement assez peu commode à faire chanter. J'en ai pourtant plusieurs et je m'y connais un tantinet dans le domaine. 😄 C'est un Mi très timide. Il résonne avec le chakra solaire. Cette vibration favorise le rayonnement et la confiance en soi. Le Mi est la note la plus banale des bols chantants.Il est livré brut de décoffrage sans boîte. Juste dans un sac plastique. Effarement! 😱Il pèse 333g exactement sur ma balance high-tech. Mystiques Chrétiens, c'est pour vous! 😜 Il y a un petit coussin et le maillet. Il n'a probablement pas les 7 métaux précieux et il n'a pas non plus les 8 signes auspicieux. Douteux pour un bol censé être traditionnel... 🤐Il y a plusieurs inscriptions dessus dont effectivement le mantra "OM mani padme hum". C'est le mantra d'Avalokitesvara dans la tradition du Mahayana. Avalokitesvara est le bouddha de la compassion. Il est souvent représenté avec quatre bras pour signifier un des vœux fondamentaux du Mahayana qui est de délivrer tous les êtres du Samsara - le cycle des renaissances dans le monde. Dans la tradition Tibétaine, il devient Tchenrezi et possède les mêmes attributs. Le mantra prend alors un rôle de protection spirituelle très important. On le répète inlassablement pendant une pratique généralement d'une heure en égrainant un collier à perles du genre chapelet (pour calculer le nombre de mantras répétés) afin d'engranger des mérites et sauver des êtres. À la fin, on est complètement halluciné et on vibre de partout. 😇 Mais on s'en fiche car tout ce qu'on veut savoir c'est : " Est-ce qu'il chante bien, ce bol ?" et la réponse est non (de mon point de vue).Donc pour en revenir au bol en lui-même, pour le prix remisé (une trentaine d'euros et moins), il y a plus facile à faire chanter et mieux présenté. Il est certes joli sur photo, mais ça ne fait pas tout.Ne vous laissez pas impressionner par les "Made in Népal" etc... Quand bien même aurait-il été fabriqué par le Bouddha historique, le 17ème Karmapa ou le Dalaï Lama en personne, le bol et vous devez faire corps ensemble. C'est un yoga. Une union. 😘 Il y a certes une légère technique, mais le bol doit aussi vous faire vibrer. Si ce n'est pas le cas, Amazon reprend la marchandise achetée en Prime sans chichi. 😌Concernant la technique, c'est un peu comme si vous attrapiez la vibration sonore avec le maillet. Regardez la vidéo. Collez bien le maillet - tout en restant souple quand même - sur le contour du bol. Il y a des didacticiels sur You Tube.Accessoirement, il me semble que le maillet est démesuré par rapport au diamètre du bol.Finalement, c'est le deuxième bol que j'achète dans cette boutique et malheureusement aussi le deuxième retour. Déception donc. 😖

I absolutely love this singing bowl. It takes a bit of practice but once you get it you’ll be off and running. The vibration when it’s held in your palm is magical. I also love the fact that this is a small business as you can see that time and dedication has been put into making the bowl and they even sent a hand written thank you note. I’m definitely going to get a full set.

.I bought this beauty for myself, but life is always full of surprises, and now my three kids and I always have beautiful moments together while listening to the bowl's sounds.The evening that I received the bowl, I was exhausted.So at the bedtime instead of reading to kids, as usual, I made a "ding-dong thing," that's what they called it now, a process that didn't require as much energy as reading.I was in awe of how much children enjoyed our "meditation".We live right next to the parc, so when the windows are open we enjoy sounds of wind and tree leaves, cicada chorus, noises of rain and late birds chirping.
