God wi bless!
I was so excited to hear there was a Bible in Patois. I figured anything to make you read the Bible more is worth having. At first I was like ok who talks like this. When I read it out lout I realized I understood it and could read fluently. The best part is that the English is on the left side. Love it!

Perfect
I lived in Jamaica for two years as a missionary and this book was a sweet reminder of my time while I was there. I don't know if it has a lot of practical uses over another copy of the new testament, but it is enjoyable to read and the book itself is printed well.It also has the an English translation to go along with the patois version to read along with. Me luv eet!! I recommend this book for anyone who loves Jamaica or who would like to familiarize themselves with the Jamaican patois. You can tell a lot of work and effort went in to creating this book.

Big ups for a very well produced monument of Jamaican patois
I was really delighted to discover how nice this book is. The production quality is very high. It really feels like a Bible. The patois translation of the King James New Testament is excellent. It is idiomatic and natural, full of idioms and expressions that fit the context. If you are interested in learning patois and like to learn by example, but cannot travel to Jamaica, well, this is a wonderful way to get acquainted. Finally, this is one of the first major works to devise a consistent orthography for the sounds of Jamaican patois. It may be a major step toward the validation of Jamaican patois as a viable language alongside standard English.

good for hearing it in your own tongue, but not for prophecy and deep study because of mistranslation in certain areas.
you will love this if you are Jamaican. Translation is incorrect in revelation and possibly else where, so reference the KJV too be sure, but the KJV is next to it, to ensure no misinterpertations by the Jamaican translators. I don't know how they could make some of the errors in Revelation, unless they were doing it on purpose. But, I use the KJV for serious study.

To know God's word
I don't like the idea of not knowing how to pronounce the words. It would be nice for it to have audio.

Each one of them says that this is not a Patois Bible and they were disappointed in it
I have bought 3 of these Bibles and given them to Jamaican friends (all 60+). Each one of them says that this is not a Patois Bible and they were disappointed in it. Said because it isn't true Patois, it is difficult to read.

Truth About This Bible
This probably isn't a bible you will read every day - even if you can listen to patois or speak it - it is not much of a written language. I find myself reading it out loud to really understand. I grew up with a lot of Jamaican (first generation Canadian) friends - and the translation in my mind is as close as you can get. I wish they would have used the NIV instead of the old King James - the translation may have turned out a little less awkward at. I think this would suit anyone who enjoys the Bible and has ties of any kind to Jamaica! As a whole this Bible is really interesting and I encourage anyone wanting to learn patois, connect to their roots, or hear the Bible in a different way - to purchase this.

Excellent
I came across an online version of this part of the bible, and was quite intrigued by it, my wife was also very interested in it so I bought it for her, as a present, we had great enjoyment reading this as it take quite a lot of deciphering, and if you know anything about the Jamaican dialect you will find it very amusing, it really puts the fun back into reading the bible. I would recommended it to anyone who thinks they know Patois or Jamaican, or those who want to get an understanding of it.

Great, amazing!
Really fun to read and appreciate the language and how the word translates. Maybe niv, nkjv, esv along side would have been better than kjv, saying that I guess they chose what the intended audience are used to. Great gift for the patoise speaker or appreciator. And
