No idea who's grand idea it was to label this punch with 1/16 in the name. Nothing is 1/16 about it. However, it is still Starret, and a popular ar punch to have, so I am less upset. However, it should be highly noted, this is a 5/32. Whoever in their infinite wisdom named this, should reconsider said arrangement of words.

Instead of buying a set of punches of which many I will probably never use I choose to buy only the ones I will need for my AR builds. Starett is a very good brand to have in your toolbox. Stay away from the cheap junk! A good start are sizes 5/32 tapered point, 5/32 drive pin, 3/32 tapered point, 3/32 drive pin, 1/8 tapered point, and 1/8 drive pin. I believe I'm missing one for the pin on the barrel gas block. But I'm not an expert by no means. The sizes above are a pretty good start. Happy building!
