Q: What is the thickness of the kit

They fit any 2x stock. Standard 2x6,2x8 etc. standard not rough cut.

Q: Can you use these with a 2 x 10? Rod J

If 10" is enough for your load, I don't see why not although you may have some overhang of the ramp plates.

Q: A 2x12 is 1.5 inches thick , why do they make these only 1.37 ??

I am not sure why they make them 1.37, but I have made ramps in the past (left them with the house for the new user to use because I was not going to need them) and I feel they are really sturdy and have no issue with them. I like them and they have stood up to what I use them for, very well in the past and even now.
