These small tools are really good for light pruning or cutting roses & other smaller stem flowers. The hook nose cutters were especially good for grabbing onto the thorny rose stems, without accidentally cutting multiple stems at the same time. For light trimming, these definitely do the trick. They are strong and have very sharp edges. The only con is that they are NOT recommended for larger branches or woody, thicker stems. They're just not made for that, which was fine for me. I have bigger trimmers that are made for heavier duty cutting, so that didn't bother me.Really GREAT PURCHASE & I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was hesitant to buy these because of cheap prices but they are GOOD! Sharp! Funtion Well! More so than many other expensive brands I purchased at Lowes and Homedepot. They work great!

Not as heavy duty as my outdoor shears but good clean cutting action. Great value!

The shears are nice, sharp and easy to use. The handles aren't too bad, the colors are great, vibrant. The gloves fit well and are a good material.
