Excellent Milk Tea Blend with Taylor's Black Tea
So I finally made my milk tea blend with Taylor's English Breakfast Black tea, Ceylon black tea leaves and another great brand of black tea. Another is I made a cup of tea with Taylor's English breakfast alone.I wanted to try Taylor's to see if this is the black tea taste that I am looking for.So I added about 4 tbsp Taylor's English breakfast to 2 cups of boiling water. I steeped it for 8 minutes for a stronger brew.I strained and poured 3/4 cup in a warm mug. Then tasted it - Mmmm! this tea is excellent, just mellow, with dark tannins and very smooth roasted black tea leaves. I would switch this with any tea leaves made by any American tea brands except for Lusianne (which is made in the South) and Bigelow (slightly lighter in taste than this brand. I would definitely skip Lipton and any off-brands that taste like Lipton. It is just awful because it tastes like watered-down tea with artificial lemon oil flavor in it.But anyway, Taylor's English breakfast can definitely go a long way with boiling in some water, then just adding 2 tbsp Taylor's, and steeping it for 5 minutes or recommending steeping time from them. For me, I wanted a stronger brew in which I can taste the tannins, and it gave the tea a dark amber brown color. This goes great with freshly made lemonade to make a great iced tea. This product is really good value for the money as it is 4.4oz for $5.42. I would expect in the future to raise in price but I will be buying this as this is my sought-after flavor profile for slightly bitter but mellow black tea for my milk tea blends such as the HK milk tea, or making chai as the tea base.I can also tell Taylor's also roast their tea leaves very gently because you can taste the tea leaves in its natural taste.

Quite a nice darjeeling for modest price point.
The tea is pleasant tasting and forgiving of non-stringent brewing practices like when I have to step away from the desk in the midst of the brewing process and can't come back for half an hour. I've purchased more expensive darjeelings and enjoyed those teas less. To make the tea more affordable, I've started purchasing the 1 kg packages that reduce the cost by about 30% over buying individual tins. However, getting a few tins has been nice because the qualityof the container has been good enough for reuse or relabeling for other use.

great tea, but light on the bergamot
ahmad, e.g., has a much stronger bergamot flavor, but this is very fine leaf.

Great tea!
For some reason, it's difficult to find loose leaf tea in our local grocery stores. This tea is a welcome change from mass-market tea bags. It has a pleasant aroma and rich flavor. Very satisfying. I plan to reorder in the future.

Great Tea!
I bought one of these for both my wife and daughter and neither can get enough of it! They love the flavor and aroma-- it has quickly become their favorite, so I will be ordering more when their current supply is gone. But that may not be for a while, because this tin is much larger than I expected, so it is a good value for the price. Please note, however, that this is LOOSE LEAF TEA-- it is not full of teabags, so you will need an infuser or tea ball or something to brew with. I recommend getting one with the finest mesh possible to avoid any of the leaves ending up in your tea. Highly recommended for lovers of loose tea.

Disappointed.
Tastes like soap. I'm sorry. I was looking forward to this, and generally like teas from Taylors.

Huge value for money, especially for a good old brand
I love this gigantic bag. Huge value for money if you are a prolific tea drinker and/or cater teas for your guest parties. Good tea, strong (by my taste) scent of roses. If you like a stronger brew, you may need an extra teaspoon or two for a small teapot than other black teas.Came to Toronto from England exactly in 1 week, well ahead of their 4-6 weeks promise.

Damaged!
I was really looking forward to this tea. I had tried the tea bags from a shop before and was quite impressed, so my expectations for the loose leaf were quite high. However, much to my dismay, I received a box that had been opened and was missing at least half the content.
