Chemical Guys ACC_G08 Wheel & Tire Brush, Short Handle

Will scratch wheels, used chemical guys wheel cleaner and car wash to lubricate the brush. Still scratched up my brand new wheels. Customer service was no help.

Believe it or not, I actually use this for tire shine. I got this idea from YouTube from Jimbos detailing as well as Scott from Dallas Paint Correction/Auto Detailing. I use this to apply Meguiars Hyperdressing. You can spray on the tire and brush it in or you can spray into the brush and apply. Either way works. It has been an absolute game changer for me especially on tires that you find on pickup trucks, SUVs, or just tires that don't have a relatively smooth sidewall. With this method I get no sling, no overspray onto rim and having to go back over my work, nice even application, I can get on the bottom part of the tire that's touching the ground. This is my new favorite way to apply tire shine.

I didn't think this brush was up to the task for cleaning my wheels and tires. It felt TOO soft and thought I was going to ruin it. After my first use though I can see I was dead wrong! This did an excellent job of cleaning my wheels and didn't spatter which is important when you have a white car. I coulnd't recommend this product highly enough. If your wheels have small nooks I'd recommend pairing this with a smaller brush for maximum cleaning potential.

I love this brush. It's perfect for cleaning wheels. This brush cut my wheel cleaning time to a fraction of what I had been doing with a "spoke brush". This is gentle and soft and will not scratch your wheels as long as you keep it rinsed out and clean. This brush is not stiff or rigid enough for tire cleaning, but it perfect for those areas that need a soft bristle.

My first thoughts were that this brush is too soft for cleaning really dirty tires and wheels. I thought it must only be good for show cars with delicate finishes. Well I was wrong. Even though it is super soft it is so dense that it cleaned up some very dirty car wheels better than my old brush that seemed to have stiffer bristles. The short handle does not bother me one bit and I feel you actually have better control with it while using it.

I purchased this after doing some research on how to clean my matte black rims. I was quite pleased with how well it cleaned while still being soft/kind to the matte finish. I used the chemical guys matte cleaner with this brush and would recommend both for those who want to clean their wheels without causing damage to the finish.

When I first received this item there was a lot of weird stuff on the bristles. I had to clean it before I actually used it so I'm taking a star off for that. It works well for cleaning tires and wheels. I saw other reviews saying the product scratched their wheels and I can say in my case that didn't happen and doesn't seem possible because the bristles just aren't that stiff. I like this product and would definitely buy another one. I just wish the handle was longer and I know there is another one available but can't justify spending a couple more dollars for a slightly longer handle.

Fast shipping. Arrived brand new and in a sealed package. Brush is soft to the touch. I like how the bristles are different lengths. The front of the brushes has longer bristles to reach into those tight places. I used this on polished chrome rimes with chemical guys Diablo wheel cleaner and I was shocked out how this brush worked out. I highly recommend this brush.

El cepillo cumple su trabajo bien, lo utilice varias veces y no pierde sus cerdas. Es duradero. El problema es que en autozone conseguí otro cepillo de mejor calidad y más cómodo por $99 pesos. Entonces es muy caro para lo que ofrece existiendo opciones iguales o mejores.

Works fantastic on aluminum and steel wheels to loosen dirt and mild break dust. I also use it on black trim with great results. I would be hesitant to use it on Painted rims with a gloss finish due the the scratch risk like any other brush. Still a great brush.

Muy satisfecho con el cepillo, deja los rines muy limpios, aunque debes complementarlo con otro cepillo que entre a fondo en los rines, ya que este cepillo solo ayuda a la parte exterior. me hubiese gustado que el mago fuese mas grande

El producto es muy bueno, cumple con todas las especificaciones, además de que es sumamente suave, dándote una sensación de que no se dañará el Rin del auto, por lo que facilita la limpieza del mismo.El único detalle es que siento que el cuerpo del mismo se ve algo austero, sin embargo, eso queda de lado al hacer uso de él.Después de varios usos se siente como nuevo, a pesar de que un principio se percibe como si se fuera a "deshacer" pronto.

I own a couple of different wheel brushes and decided to add this one as well. In my opinion it is a must!! This brush is the perfect balance between soft and sturdy enough. It removes the crazy amount of brake dust that covers my wheels while being safe for the unique finish of the wheels. It is definitely my go to brush for the face of the wheels! Build quality seems good the handle is a faux wood made from plastic but seems very durable. I have no doubt this brush will last me years.
