Metal Cat Sculpture, Figurine, Statue, Twisted Iron Cat Ornament for Home and Garden, for Animal Lover (Sitting Cat)

This was a lot smaller than expected. The 24cm measurement was that from the bottom to the tip of the tail and the other measurements were approx 4 cm smaller than listed. I know they say these are handmade and some discrepancy is to be expected but that's about an inch smaller in each direction so I was quite disappointed and I note that the word "discrepancy" does not apparently mean larger in this case.I think the description given should probably be taken with a pinch of salt - the "oil blackened" finish looked like paint daubs to me and I'm sure it was nowhere near heavy enough to be iron but then I'm not an expert and I could be wrong. In any event, I bought this as a gift and decided in the end to give it to the recipient who seemed to like it however, she said she didn't feel it would fare well in the garden so she's kept it indoors.It's kinda cute but, as I said, I'm not entirely sure the description is accurate and it's way smaller than expected. If I'd had more time I would probably have returned it and sourced something else but maybe I'm just over fussy.

Purchased this for a friend's birthday who is a cat lover. I bought it for her to put in the garden. It arrived very well packaged and it really is a beautiful statue. Very modern and very well made. My friend loved it and said its too nice to put in the garden, I agree!I would definitely recommend for any cat lovers.

As I had just had my garden landscaped, I decided that I wanted ornaments to represent favourite animals of my immediate familyThis was for my mum. From the entire animal kingdom, her favourite is cat. Bit boring but this garden ornament is anything but. Different and quirky is exactly what I was after, and this fitted the bill perfectly.Seems solid and stable on slate chippings and heavier than I expected. Would certainly recommend
