Someone Is Hiding on Alcatraz Island

This book is amazing. I'm glad I found another book by my favorite author.

The way Eve Bunting maintains the suspense here is wonderful. She gets you caring about the central character, and about the ranger who befriends him, and then puts them in jeopardy, chapter after chapter, with the dreaded image of Alcatraz in the background.

Action and super adventures. Very entertaining and exciting best book ever. You will be on the edge of your seat reading this amazing book! Sometimes it can be very gross too! But that is the best part I always say. Love this book. I hope you will enjoy and love it too like me. Enjoy reading this "sweet" book!!!!

its an ok story to my opinion

I purchased this book for my 6th grader because he was assigned a summer reading list. He really enjoyed it!

I really liked this book. It was an awesome adventure. If you are looking for a new entertaining book you should totally read it!!

Story was ok. Skipped and didn't clarify a lot of things. This book is a on my 6th graders reading list and I did not like how The Outlaws treated Biddy. Talking about strip clubs and one of the boys liking her neck. Also how they carried around ice picks and switchblade may be more appropriate for 8th grade on up. I did like the description of Alcatraz and makes me want to take my kids to see it. I went as a girl scout when I was younger.
