This knife is awesome 💯 you have a s35vn steel and the Cold steel quality. It's plenty sharp and the serratinons are wicked, the knife bites and tares the overall design of this knife is solid and the grip feels secure even when wet. The opening and closing is smooth I appreciate the the thumb plate very much 💯. As far as value of money? Absolutely worth it, this is s35vn almost 6 inches and the blade itself is wide and it's partially serrated.

it has a menacing size of 5.5 Inches blade. and fits comfortable in the hand with this long pistol grip G-10 handle. the lock feel secure, their famous triad lock system. i am confident that it will not close during an unsuitable time, its easy to close and open but it takes some amount of finger strength to de-activate the lock its deadly point tip penetrates and the blade metal is highly reinforced and resistant to breaking highly versatile self defense, cooking culinary, utility workshop craftsman outdoors, very appropriate for EDC, razor sharp edge serrations tear up card-board boxes fast and other things too easy pocket carry minimal profile . fits in my front pocket hardly notice. has a strong pocket clip. pocket auto deploy feature - be careful ! that blade is sharp ! but also pocket deploy tears up my work pants very quickly.

It’s took me a while before i pulled the trigger o n the Talwar. I’m glade i did. Caught it on deal. Great price for a knife of this size and getting g a lot of S35Vn steel one of my favorites. Not much to say it’s Cold Steel great quality excellent sharpness and edge bevel. Always a great heat treat on there steel super ergonomics, and with that tri-ad locks it up like a bank vault. Super knife very very sharp out of box.love the satin finish, and that Persian style blade. What can you say its Cold Steel. Great quality products for a good price.

No complaints quality wise. G10 isn't aggressive enough to destroy your pickets. Blade is beautiful. Edge grind is even. Is centered when closed with a solid lock up. I didn't realize how big a 51/2 inch blade knife is. Should have known from my 4 inch Spyderco Military how big it would be. It is ginormous. I mean, if you would drop this in the woods and a Sasquatch would find it...he/she would be surprised to find a knife that fits its hand. Really it is Sasquatch sized. Closed it is very big too. Will only fit in certain pockets. No complaints with the knife. The quality is very good. I have like 80 some folders to compare to. Spyderco, Benchmade, Kizer, Civivi, and others. Is nice but also humongous. This would be one of my favorite folders if it was a 4 inch blade. But unfortunately due to its size it will rarely, if ever, be used.

I’ve been wanting the 4” for awhile. While tracking it on Amazon , it was weirdly more expensive than the XL. Recently however , it popped down to $125 and I got it. The handle is very comfortable , but with 2XL size hands , my hand just fits. In fact with the curve in the handle , my fingers feel snugly nestled, similar to holding the Spartan. The blade came razor sharp , and the action is perfect. One big surprise was how instantly pocketable it is. Didn’t have to loosen the clip , or sand down an overly rough grip texture. One tiny complaint might be the edges of the lock bar are a tad sharp, more hotspot than anything , it doesn’t come into play under normal use. I think just as I was oiling the knife I could feel it.

I typically like Cold Steel products, but this particular knife should be recalled due to quality issues. As many other customer reviews have noted, once the knife is opened, it is extremely difficult to close. The build quality is subpar and overall very disappointing. Avoid this knife.

Stabbed myself with it on accident in the palm so I think it works 😂😂
