I ordered these bird seeds because I enjoying feeding the birds that come into my yard. It is definitely waste free. The birds are able to eat all of the seeds with no shells left behind. These seeds do not make a mess in my yard and for that I am grateful. The birds appear to enjoy the seeds as I have several birds to visit my bird feeder to include blue rays, Cardinals, and occasionally a woodpecker. The seeds has a nice earthy smell and it is very easy to store and pour inside the bird feeder container. The color of the seeds are tan with other color seeds mixed in which is probably another reason the birds may be drawn to the food. I enjoy watching the birds enjoy this food. I would definitely recommend this product for all wild bird lovers.

Because of the birdfeeder placement, I needed birdfeed with no shells to clean up. The birds love this food. They are birds and unconcerned about tidiness, so some of the food does fall on the ground. However, it biodegrades quickly and/or is easy to sweep up.

The birds just love this feed. Noticed a uptick in wildlife especially the birds. Loyal customer.

Due to negative comments in reviews about the corn in this product, I almost did not order it. I used to buy the Kaytee mixed wild bird seed when it was on sale, but stopped when it was basically cracked corn with a little bird seed thrown in. Corn is a cheap filler and can be bought alone for a low price. Fortunately, there was no problem with corn in this bag. Yes, there are some small whole kernel pieces, but not that many, and I have squirrels. This bag was a pretty good mixture of mostly sunflower chips and millet. Both very well liked and millet is not cheap, plus sorely missing in many mixed seed bags these days. Peanuts? Not that many. In fact, I could not recommend this to someone wanting peanuts. You'll have to buy the Kaytee shelled peanuts, which usually have a lot of pulverized peanut skins, but is still a better deal than other brands of shelled peanuts for birds.

Birds love this bird seed. High quality and birds keep feeding on it through out the day.

This seed blend is great for winter feeding. The peanuts and suet balls in the mix help the birds get the food they need for staying warm. I don't notice any odor. It's a little expensive; but, worth it for my little chirpers. I only use it in the cold weather. Birds seem to like it. HOWEVER - on my most recent shipment, both bags had broken open in the box. The tape on the bottom of the box had torn. I had a HUGE MESS to clean up. That was the first time it has happened. I was not very happy and hope it never happens again. The bags should not have been packed in a box where they could slide around. AMAZON did that - not Kaytee.

The birds like this seed blend, but as far as "No Mess" goes, not entirely accurate. There is quite a mess below the feeder on my deck which has to be swept up daily. I don't know if this is normal or not for a "No Mess" seed blend. Seems a bit messy for my understanding of the statement, then again maybe I'm thinking too literally. Thought this might be relevant to share.

I love the birdseed and that it gets delivered to me, but when I took the one bag out, it was already opened and it spilled all over the carton. I’m not returning it, but I just thought you should know.

Bought this with a bird feeder. Unlimited delight watching these critters. They love this birdseed WAY more than the bulk brand I bought later.

As bird seed goes, the birds did eat it all up. It is winter and I am not sure how much hit the ground and how much they actually ate
