Receiver Hitch Rack Package - Compatible with 2017-2025 Tesla Model 3 - The Hitch Made to be Hidden

Followed YouTube videos to install. The only challenging part was getting one of the screws in the fender well to line up correctly. It does move slightly with my bike riding on it, no noticeable rattling noises. I wish there was an option for no lock, this part may be an issue is wet/salty climates.

Just installed this hitch on my 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance. Fit and finish is excellent! Took a few hours to install by myself, but I took my time and had a lot of breaks in between. Much easier if you have a two person job to install it, but as I said, I installed it myself, and it installed flawlessly.

There are a lot of hitches for your Tesla model 3 out there. I finally got this one and love it. Installation took me about 3 hours with many breaks. I wouldn’t say it was easy but after watching a few videos on installation of different mounts I had a good idea of what I was getting into.One note about installation. I did have to spend about $145 on tools. But that’s much better than the $500 instal quotes I got.I would totally recommend this for a bike rack. I have a 3 bike platform rack that holds our ebikes as we go to local parks and trails.

The hitch installation instructions are pretty clear and not actually that difficult. Unfortunately the wiring instructions are very lacking if you have an older model 3, and I think downright wrong in one spot. That caused the install to take a lot longer than necessary while trying to decode the instructions. Also didn't include the cutout template for the opening so I had to wing that.Great hitch, I just wish they spent an hour cleaning up their instructions.

Enclosed instructions were really good for Rack hitch. I passed on the trailer version with the connector pack. The instuctions said it would take 2.5 hours and it took us a little over 3 hours. Mostly, because we had to spend extra time to find the proper socket or large wrench. If you hire an installer, this review is not relevant. I chose to try myself because the local trailer store want $600 for 2.5 hour of install labor. The first page of the instructions lists all the tool you need. If you have them, no problems. I did find the 90deg pick, plastic shims, dremel not really needed, they maybe good to have but not critical. The first step of removing the bolts holding up the gravel guard would have been easier on a houst but we managed crawling near under the car. I did have 3 friends help during the installation if not for them it would taken me twice as long but it would have gotten done.

Needed to put a bike rack on my Tesla that did not damage the paint/windows/roof. Tesla's are fragile don't use strap on racks! Putting this on will seem insane. You will take off the entire rear of the care! It's actually very easy and I did it myself in four hours taking lots of breaks and watching the video over and over again. Make sure that you have all the tools before starting or you will not be happy. Car wheel ramps are really necessary too.

The installation was not very difficult to do myself but watching the videos is very helpful. Torquing down some of the bolts was not possible for me as some bolts were a very large size. I wish this kit came with the holder pouch for the receiver when not in use; the kit cost is significant that I think it should be included. Great product for bike holders, etc.

Hitch arrived three days after ordering. Very well packaged and as advertised. Install was simple after the bumper came off. Materials, instructions, fit and finish are all excellent and the rack is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend
