BlochDance Unisex-Adult Annabella Ballroom Shoe

I have this shoe is a beige color purchased many years ago (15+) as a practice shoe. I am still using it. It held up really well to being resoled several times over the years. I needed a low-healed black dance shoe, so I ordered this one. I knew it ran small so I ordered a 7 instead of 6.5. I always wear a 6.5 but took a 7 in this shoe before. That was the right choice, but these shoes are not properly made. Right shoe fits well. Left shoe is loose because the straps are not properly attached and are crooked. Toe opening on left is larger that toe opening on right. The shoes just do not match. Also the arch support on the these shoe is hard and uncomfortable. My old Blochs were comfortable the first time I put them on and still are. I am disappointed. Bloch needs to pay attention to Quality Control. Also, this shoe is also more narrow than my previously Blochs and the quality and construction are not as good. Too bad.

These Bloch Dance shoes fit my narrow foot very well. I am not use to suede on the bottom of dance shoes, I am use to it being a little more slippery, like the Bloch Jazz Split Soles, which are made of rubber, and pebbled for traction. However, I find the suede is less slippery than the rubber.The height is lower than what I am use to but I plan on using them for ballroom, swing etc.....I gave them 4 stars because the straps appear as though they may eventually break or stretch with use and the suede bottom looks like it could come away from shoe.I was mostly happy that they feet my narrow feet. I ordered an 8 and I have an 8 Narrow AA foot.

I've been dancing in these for almost two months now, sometimes up to 20 hours a week (West Coast Swing, primarily). They have held up well, and I will probably order another pair once I've worn them out, although I don't expect that to be anytime soon. The only downside for me- the left shoe rubbed a sore on my big toe for the first week or so that I wore them until they broke in a little and my toe got a little callus. The right shoe was fine, so it might just be the difference between my two feet and might not be an issue for anyone else.Update 5.13.18- one of the straps broke on my left sandal today, which is the first issue I’ve had in over a year. It is definitely possible to fix it by having them re-soled, but I think I will buy a new pair. Although I’ve loved these, I think sandals with a wider strap will be more comfortable for late night social dancing at events.

I'm a newby in the dance world, and these are my first pair of dancing shoes. Generally, I have very thin and sensitive skin and always have blisters when breaking in a new pair, but not this time. It was a perfect fit. Low heel, easy to balance. I'm very happy with the purchase.I wear size 7, ordered 7,5 and it worked well.

Great quality! The suede is very good and does not requir brushing as often as some other brands. The straps were a little tight at first which is good since they are leather and will mold to your foot. I reccommend wearing them for 30min at a time until broken in, which should only take 5 hours or so. Very comfortable heel height, I actually find these more comfortable than flats! Good for teaching if you have to wear dance shoes for a few hours at a time. These are not the first bloch shoes I have ordered because in my experince they last a long time!

I love these shoes! There's no break in time, it has a good solid shank yet very flexible. And I love the buckle you don't have to fiddle with those slide in ones. These are my third pair of Bloch shoes I won't wear anything else! I use them for ballroom, swing, Latin everything

I sent them back. Ordering Street size the toes were a bit too long for dancing but worse.... The first strap was so tight I could barely get my foot in. The other straps were fine. Why can't dance shoes come in wide?

I have been swing dancing in these shoes for years, and this pair appears to be made just like the last 6 pairs that I have owned. However, they did slightly darken the nude color from previous models, the shoe appears more orange-y brown than as pictured. I have noticed that the overall quality of the shoe has gone down from what it was 9 years ago, but it's still a good shoe that will last me about a year. I like the fact that I can tighten the shoe as much as I wish, being that I have narrow feet for a size 9.5. These shoes tend to wear down where the buckle is connected before any other part of the shoe.

best shoes ever purchased for dancing ,sturdy and comfortable,glides across the floor, excellent dance shoes dont know you are wearing anything excellent.

This last purchase of this shoe was a bit of a disappointment. They had to be returned for a larger size. My wife has been using the same brand and model in a size 6.5 for many years. The new manufacturer is making these shoes to a smaller size designation, she now requires a size 7. Because of this change I had to pay return postage. This should fall on the new fabricator.

This shoe would work for dance if you have a small, not wide foot. They should offer wider sizes, I so wanted to keep these but the last strap pinched my foot very badly. Order 1 size up for sure, but if you have a wider foot, these will not fit.

This is a beautiful dance shoe, fully what I expected as far as style and aesthetics. Problem for me was that it was a very narrow fit. If you have a narrow fit and have a hard time finding shoes, this is the one for you!

J'utilise les souliers Bloch depuis 10 ans. Puisque mes sandales etaient des 8, et étaient usées et agrandies, j'ai décidé de prendre un point plus petit. Il est un peu serré, mais agrandira à la longue. Ce dernier est mon 6e soulier de danse Bloch.
