I am experimenting with putting on makeup for older Asian women. I'm over 60 yoa with medium skin tone. I've had to look at you tube videos to learn how to put it on. Ha! As far as color and smoothness goes this K7L Cocoa colored eyeliner is the best for my coloring. And let's just say I've been through dozens of brown toned eyeliners. I'm glad I finally found this one. It looks very natural. Black was way too harsh and Rust was a little too dark brown closer to black for my day time wear. I prefer the more natural look but still needed it dark enough to open the eyes and give them a little zing. As others have stated, it is highly pigmented so you don't need to go over your line again just to add more color. It goes on smoothly and doesn't flake off on dryer eyelids.I spend a lot of time at the gym and perspire heavily. I'm happy to say that the eyeliner absolutely stays put all day and night if you use a light dab of eye shadow to set it. I wear this liner with just tinted sunscreen, and some cream blush. This baby goes right on and lasts all day and still looked like I had just put it on when I was preparing to go to bed.I'm very happy with this line of eyeliner and won't use anything else for daytime wear. I will try the Rust for night time though. K7L looks like a small company. I hope they do well and don't disappear.P.S. I rarely ever write reviews so I feel strongly about this product.

This is the best thing waterline color I’ve found and it lasts probably 6-8 hours. The pencil is very hard to sharpen, skips in the sharpener a lot and sharpens unevenly, product tip broke off immediately when opened and wears down very fast. I like this product but predict the pencil will not last very long.

I didn’t like this product at all. It was nearly impossible to get in my inner waterline of my lower lids. It made my eyes water and wouldn’t go in the damp skin yet stuck to my eyelashes making them a ghostly appearance. Thick and clumpy and cream colored.

Great application and looks good on.

This was a hefty price to pay for an item that is so unusable after the initial cosmetic portion is worn down to the pencil covering. The covering is plastic and the cosmetic is soft. The covering is stronger than the cosmetic and causes the cosmetic to break while leaving sharp plastic edges after using a sharpener so that it is completely unsafe and unusable. I had to throw it away. Buyer beware!

I am pretty pale, and this is the perfect shade for my waterline to make me look more awake and alert on days I don’t get as much sleep as I should have. It is a bit annoying that you have to sharpen this manually, I do prefer a self-sharpening liner, but the color is great and it stayed on all day. Price point was also pretty good.
